Earlier, I shared an opportunity to donate to the Ronald McDonald House of Fort Worth during ACN ELEVATE Arlington.
Then I came across Tillie’s story… and it put everything into perspective. 🙏🏾
Tillie was born at just 27 weeks after her mother experienced severe preeclampsia. Her family’s journey eventually brought them to a Fort Worth hospital, where the Ronald McDonald House of Fort Worth gave them something incredibly important during an incredibly difficult season:
A place to stay close. A place to rest. A place to breathe. A place to remain together as a family. ❤️
For 121 nights, Tillie’s family was able to call Ronald McDonald House of Fort Worth their home away from home while navigating long days at the hospital.
And today, according to the story shared here at ELEVATE, Tillie is a thriving two-year-old. 🙌🏾
Stories like hers are why giving matters.
Ronald McDonald House of Fort Worth provides families with seriously ill or injured children a supportive home away from home, including private rooms, meals and other resources while their children receive medical care.
And I’m proud to be attending an ACN event where generosity is being encouraged and ACN is matching donations to the local Ronald McDonald House chapter dollar for dollar. ❤️
I posted the donation QR code earlier, but after seeing Tillie’s story, I wanted everyone to see WHO these donations can impact.
Behind every donation is a family.
Behind every family is a story.
And sometimes, a little support can mean having somewhere to call home when your family needs it most.
