Extension Deadline Reminder 🚨
If you’re getting a refund, the April 15 deadline does NOT apply to you — no penalties, no rush. You can file after the deadline without any issues.
Extensions are only for those who owe taxes. An extension gives you more time to file, NOT more time to pay.
💰 If you owe, your estimated tax payment is still due by April 15 to avoid penalties and interest.
Short and simple:
• Refund = no deadline stress ✨
• Owe = file extension if needed, but pay by April 15 ⏳

Let’s talk 1099-Ks!
A lot of people are waiting to file because they think a 1099 is coming.
Here’s where the confusion is:
If you were paid through a third-party processor (Venmo, PayPal, Cash App, Stripe, etc.), you only receive a 1099-K if you hit BOTH:
AS TO
$20,000 in gross payments E NOT
200 transactions
Not one. Both.
If you didn’t meet both thresholds, a form may NOT be issued.
You are STILL required to report the income on your tax return even if you don’t receive a 1099.
If you’re unsure what should be reported, that’s what I’m here for ✨
Thanks to a new tax rule, some overtime pay and tips may not be subject to federal income tax. Your employer is supposed to list these amounts on your W-2 (usually in Box 14) so we can easily apply the benefit.
Don’t see it there? No stress 😌 We can still figure it out using paystubs or payroll reports. The IRS knows this is new and has given employers and tax pros some grace while everyone adjusts. Our job is to track it down and make sure you get every dollar you’re entitled to. 💰
Okay okay. TaxDome forcing me to go to sleep. 🫠
Behind the scenes getting our new location ready for tax season. I’ve spent so much time curating this space and I can’t wait to share it with you! ✨

If someone thinks they already know something, they are less likely to be open to learning new things. It is important to approach learning with an open mind and be willing to learn new things even if you think you already know everything about a subject.
This applies to everything in life. Especially when it comes to business, money, and taxes. Keep an open mind when speaking or reading something you "think you already know". It could change your life more than you ever imagined. 💰
