Good to be back in familiar surroundings. Moved back into the house about 2 weeks ago. That hasn't stopped me though. 8 weeks in 3 hotels and 7 months in a condo apartment. Definitely been an experience. Disruptive but never stopped me. Been working the whole time!

Plus, if you're a small business owner, gig worker, and want to save money next year on bookkeeping fees, I have been building an app that will do it for you. No bs. More on that soon!

Get a head start this year with a reliable estimate, affordable preparation, and peace of mind knowing this year's tax filings already behind you.

IRS has not announced when e-filing will reopen for 2026 filing season (2025 tax year). The work week beginning Monday 1/26/26 is what I anticipate from experience.

Note that every year EIC and Child Tax Credit recipients typically get their returns held until mid-February.

Everyone else can expect theirs within 3 weeks from the date of acceptance. Filing early gets you in on that first batch when processing begins.
