Dear Friends,
I have some EXCITING NEWS I want to share with you, and perhaps get your two cents on the subject:

My husband Michael Fitzpatrick and I are using this extended period of "postponed employment" to finally shoot the feature version of our award-winning horror short, REMISSION. (As Sam awaits the results of his latest biopsy at a secluded cabin, his dread amplifies when he suspects that he may not be alone.)

We'll be driving across the country to upstate NY to film, and will be doing the entire project alone, in quarantine, just the two of us. We are so excited about it, and are in full pre-production swing right now. We depart next week!

We've created a Seed&Spark campaign in order to fund this film (launching early next week), with a goal of raising $15,000 (a small amount in the world of features, but a huge amount to us for this project). As we are working under the SAG-AFTRA Ultra Low-budget Production Agreement, we'll be acquiring a payroll company, insurance, making union benefit contributions, along with purchasing or renting the myriad of other necessary items to make a quality film of this length.

Your investment in our campaign would mean so much to us, but would also grant you access to our entire process. Not only do we have some enticing incentives for each pledge-level, but your contribution would make you a real part of our team, with updates coming to you along the way: from pre-production through filming, to our film festival journey and beyond. We believe that creating art is of vital importance right now, and we want YOU to be part of ours.

Also, we'd appreciate your help in expanding our audience, and getting our Seed&Spark campaign in front of the right sets of eyes. We'd both appreciate you sharing the campaign with those you suspect may want to join us on this journey, as well as pointing us towards pertinent resources and individuals whom we don't yet know.
