OK! I've waited too long to start posting about Vetted360 . . . always waiting for a better time when I have the headspace and bandwidth to dive deep into what this new startup means to me. Welp, tonight I’m just gonna jump in, 1st draft, unedited, raw . . . I launched this company on my 50th birthday - symbolic of a new professional chapter in my life . . . and I believe it's going to be the best chapter yet!

For the past 2 years, I have been working with a few small businesses as an hourly consultant - successful, privately owned companies ranging from $2 million to $50 million in sales. I serve as a sounding board, confidante, board member, recruiter, project manager, HR manager, therapist, coach. No matter the project or the role, I loved every minute of it. My clients value my time, experience and opinions and trust me implicitly. My work is meaningful, fun, challenging and rewarding. I manage my own schedule, availability and hourly rate.

At the same time, I noticed many of the conversations I was having with girlfriends (all of whom are over 40 years old) revolved around their feeling stuck, unfulfilled or frustrated with their professional lives. I was shocked and saddened by how many amazing women felt this way - these are some of the smartest, most capable, get it done women I know! I would go home from these coffees, walks and lunches and tell my husband . . . "am I supposed to be doing something about this? "Is God nudging me?”

The answer is a resounding YES! My passion and love for small business and entrepreneurs and my passion and love for my amazing friends and other seasoned women who are kind, generous, crazy smart no-nonsense doers (no mean girls, thank you) is the reason for Vetted360.

I believe women over 40 are one of the most untapped professional resources in the market and I believe small businesses and entrepreneurs can most benefit from our business model. I believe in building personal & trusting relationships, working within our own communities and working, in-person, side-by-side with our clients and their teams.
