Tax Day now July 15: Treasury, IRS extend filing deadline and federal tax payments regardless of amount owed | Internal Revenue Service IR-2020-58, March 21, 2020 — The Treasury Department and Internal Revenue Service announced today that the federal income tax filing due date is automatically extended from April 15, 2020, to July 15, 2020.

Due to Governor Newsom’s COVID-19 order, our standard hours and practices have been forced to change. Our office lobby is closed to the public, however, PBS will be open and operational in a limited capacity for drop off and virtual tax preparation services only. Until further notice our business hours will be:

Monday through Saturday 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Sunday Closed

Due to the disruptions caused by COVID-19 the IRS has extended the filing deadline to July 15, 2020, for the tax year 2019. As the COVID-19 situation is always changing, please call before you come to drop off your tax documents to our dropbox to confirm that we will be able to assist you that day.

In observance of Thanksgiving we will be closing at 4:00 PM on Wednesday November 22nd, and will not return to the office until Monday November 27th. We wish you, your friends, your families all the best.

In observance of Veterans Day PBS will be closed beginning Friday, November 10 thru Monday, November 13. We will return to normal office hours on Tuesday, November 15.

Just as a reminder, we are currently on our winter schedule and are closed on Friday and Sunday.
