Hi Friends, It's been a while since I've spoken to many of you. So first things first, I hope you are all doing well! I know the past few years have been difficult for a lot of us in a number of ways and I sincerely hope you are able to find happiness and calm during these times.

Since the start of the pandemic until now, We've run into a lot of instances that show us we can't fully rely on our jobs and careers. A lot of us lost work, and people close to us and to make things worse; we've faced a time of sickness coupled with the inflation of our government's actions to alleviate the stress of the pandemic. As a result, We've all noticed that our money is significantly less powerful than it used to be ( ex. a Snicker bar that used to cost $1.50 IN 2018 is now $3.29) it might not seem like a lot, but it's over a 100% increase over the past few years. Now imagine, purchasing a car, or a house, or sending your child to college, or even planning a vacation..... All of these life milestones are more expensive now than ever, and the math ain't mathin'.
During the pandemic, I had LOTS of time to research a better way to manage my finances and plan for the future while reducing as much risk as possible, and I can say 1 thing is for sure, the banks are not where it's at.
