C-Suite Stories: Jeff Ball, Partner 🎸
Meet Jeff Ball, Partner and leader of our Tacoma, Washington office. In this edition of C-Suite Stories, Jeff shares his perspective on building lasting client relationships, finding meaning in the work, and one unexpected chapter from his high school years.
1️⃣ What do you believe is the foundation of a lasting client relationship?
Communication. In the audit world, it is crucial to ensuring a positive relationship. Regularly scheduled meetings and even impromptu calls establish more than just timelines and pending items, they are opportunities for both auditors and clients to genuinely get to know one another as people.
2️⃣ What advice would you give to someone just beginning their career in public accounting?
The work is the work - people make it worth doing. You chose a career in accounting, so its likely you are not in for the high-octane day-to-day life as a travel influencer. What makes my job worth it is showing up each day to find happy, supportive, like-minded colleagues working together toward shared goals.
3️⃣ What's something people might be surprised to learn about you?
In high school I played guitar/bass in a mock-emo band named, Tuesday's November 🎸
Different experiences shape different perspectives. We're grateful to have Jeff's experience, humor, and people-first approach as part of Davis Farr's leadership.

At Davis Farr, our core values are more than words on a wall. They are reflected in the people who live them every day 💙
We're excited to introduce our 2026 Core Value Recipients, each nominated by their peers for the meaningful ways they embody one of our six core values. Every nomination included stories of collaboration, leadership, kindness, and the everyday moments that make our culture what it is.
Over the next six months, our At the Core series will introduce each recipient, share the value they represent, and highlight the impact they've made on the people around them 👏
We can't wait to share these incredible people with you!

Unified is one of our six core values at Davis Farr 🤝
To us, being unified means showing up for one another, sharing knowledge, and working toward a common purpose. It is the everyday moments of collaboration that strengthen our teams and shape our culture.
Krisztina Varga also shared this reflection:
"The strength of Davis Farr is not any one individual; it's the people around us who are willing to step in, support one another, and work toward a common goal." 💙
