I have had several clients tell me about calls from the IRS trying to collect money. The IRS does NOT call people. If by chance they do, they will send you a letter first and tell you the date and time of their call. They will also identify themselves with a badge number. Please do not pay any money to the IRS over the phone. They do NOT accept payments this way ever. If you have questions you can call them at 1-800-829-1040 or give us a call.
