When y’all get your taxes and if you haven’t already, GET LIFE INSURANCE on yourself and your kid(s)!! Since it’s relatively inexpensive, pay it up for a year. If you paid it up for a year in advance, (during income tax season 😜), you won’t have to worry about reoccurring monthly payments and it could be cheaper than a pair of Jordans, a purse, or anything else that you might spend the money on. Keep paying it every year when you get your income taxes so you and your kid(s) can be straight if something were to ever happen to either one of y’all.

The Bear Room is a place you can volunteer and/or donate that services foster children. When children come into care and don’t have anything, caseworkers can go to The Bear Room and pick up items for the children.

Friday I took my son to the The Bear Room to donate his Jordans, Crocs, and clothes he no longer fits. He also had to donate toys that I haven’t seen him play with in 6 months. He complained a little bit, but when he was done he was taken to a room to pick out a giant stuffed animal; perfect finish to my lesson of when you give, you will receive. 🥰
