The IRS is starting what’s called HUB Testing on Wednesday, January 14, 2026.

In plain English, this just means the IRS is warming up their system before they fully open for tax season.

Here’s what to expect ⬇️

Some returns will get accepted right away
Some will sit in line until the IRS officially opens
Both are normal — nothing is wrong if yours doesn’t move immediately

Once returns start going through after January 14, they’re treated as live submissions, so everything needs to be accurate before sending. That’s why we take our time reviewing your info and double-checking everything before hitting submit.
