👩‍💼 Being a broker today means navigating more change, more information, and more demands than ever before. Staying ahead takes more than keeping up: it takes the right insights, resources, and connections to know what’s coming and how to be ready for it.
That’s exactly why the National Association of REALTORS created the Broker Summit, and we are so excited to be hosting one here in Little Rock for our Arkansas brokers. 💙
âś… The summit is designed to bring brokers together with people and information that can actually help you run your business, and give you a direct connection to the people on all levels of our association who can help you shape what comes next.
✅ This year, we’re bringing together NAR voices and local experts to share insights you can put to work. Dr. Lawrence Yun, NAR’s Chief Economist, will give us a look at the 2027 economic outlook and what it means for brokers. Veronica McManus with Realtor Property Resources will talk about using technology and leveraging data to grow your brokerage, and Nykea Pippion McGriff, NAR Vice President of Association Engagement, will dig into broker engagement and leadership.
We’ll also have Charlie Lee from NAR joining Tim Grooms and Commissioner Suzett Sparks for a panel discussion about some of the issues brokers are dealing with today.
âś… We also want to hear from you. What challenges are you experiencing currently? How can our association support you better?
Because the summit isn’t just about giving you the resources and sending you home. 👉 We’re bringing the right people from all three levels of our association: local, state, and national, so you can make connections, ask questions, talk through what you’re facing, and know exactly where to turn when you need help.
We hope to see you at the Broker Summit on October 21 at Embassy Suites in West Little Rock!

Today, we’re celebrating the quiet powerhouses behind our REALTOR® associations: our Association Executives! 💙

From supporting members and championing local advocacy to navigating industry changes and keeping everything moving behind the scenes, AEs show up every day with dedication, resilience, and leadership.

They are problem-solvers, connectors, advocates, and often the people making sure the rest of us have what we need to succeed.

To all of the Association Executives across Arkansas - thank you for all that you do for our community! We appreciate you today and every day. 👏

Tag an AE who deserves a little extra appreciation today! đź’™

💥 48 states have it. Arkansas doesn't. 🤔
Issue 3 is a ballot initiative supported by the ARA that will allow local governments to create economic development districts and adequately compete for investments in their local communities. But most importantly:
âś… 48 states already have it, and Arkansas doesn't, making Arkansans unable to compete for economic development;
âś… It doesn't raise taxes
âś… It gives full local control for communities to determine what they need and how to utilize economic development districts

What one Arkansas town needs may be completely different from what another needs.

For one community, the priority could be more housing. Somewhere else, it could be a grocery store, medical services, restaurants, infrastructure or bringing new life to an underused part of town.

Issue 3 would authorize another economic-development option for Arkansas communities to pursue the opportunities that make sense locally.
Because economic development should start with a simple question: What does your community need?

Vote YES on Issue 3 November 3.
