People are seeing much smaller refunds than in prior years per the IRS. This is mostly due to the withholding table changes last spring not the actual tax calculations having changed

The new tax returns, if you have a paper copy, will seem odd. Instead of standard size sheets it will be in half sheets but thicker than usual
