I know you hear me preaching “off-season work!” over and over again and you’re probably like…
“Quitta, I had this cruise booked.”
“My family reunion is next month.”
“My babies are graduating.”
“I’m trying to LIVE too!” 😂
I get YOU. Because… same!
This off-season, I still made time to prioritize my family. We took a long-overdue road trip in a Sprinter van from Texas to Ohio to New York, making memories in all the states in between. It was such a blessing and honestly, something we really needed.
All the more reason to be building this kind of business!!
The goal was never to become so busy making money that I couldn’t enjoy my life..
The goal was to build something that gave me MORE freedom,
MORE flexibility, and MORE control over my time.
I’ve come a long way from being the “auntie who helps with taxes.”
I’ve become the person my community trusts for real tax and business solutions — and now I’m building something that can help other preparers become that person in their own communities too.
You can BUILD with intention and without putting your whole life on hold.
Come see what we're building over here at BFS. It just might be a really good fit for you. 💚

That pile of receipts is not a bookkeeping system🙄
Pick a day.
Organize them.
Categorize the expenses.
& For real...make it a monthly habit instead of a tax-season emergency!

Tax Pros — real talk. What intimidates you the most??
-Finding repeat clients
-Learning the software
-Keeping up with compliance
-Knowing what to charge
-Staying organized
No judgment. I want to know what’s actually slowing people down.

So your tax person emails you and says, “Go ahead and sign the return so we can keep things moving.”👀
Would you sign it knowing it wasn't done yet?
Listen… even if it’s YOUR MAMA saying, “Just sign it!” 😂 — wait until that return is complete.
Review it. Ask questions. Understand what’s being filed in your name. THEN sign it.
Because when you lay it out like that… trusting your tax professional shouldn’t mean signing blindly.
Want a trusted source in your corner when tax season comes around??

January is too late. Period.
Serious tax pros don’t wait until the season starts to get serious.
They prepare early.
They position early.
They get support early.
Because December is for final prep.
Not panic.
Not scrambling.
Not starting from scratch.
Now is for getting in the room.

💰 LET’S TALK NUMBERS
Every tax return is different, and preparation fees can vary based on complexity. But with an average preparation fee of $650, the numbers could look like this..
25 clients = $16,250
50 clients = $32,500
100 clients = $65,000
200 clients = $130,000
300 clients = $195,000 🔥
And that’s BEFORE building a team, partnering with other professionals, or creating additional revenue opportunities within your tax business.
Remember, you’re not “just a tax preparer.”
You’re building a business.
Consistency matters. Marketing matters. Ex*****on matters.
The numbers 👏🏽 will 👏🏽 number 👏🏽 when you’re CONSISTENT, you MARKET, and you EXECUTE.
So, how many clients are YOU aiming to serve this tax season?
