We’re excited to announce that we will be offeing this bank product option to our tax clients for the upcoming tax season.

Here is how it works:

Pay-by-Refund (Refund Transfer): When clients elect this option, SBTPG (Santa Barbara Tax Products Group) sets up a temporary bank account to receive their tax refund from the IRS or state.

Fee Deduction: Once the refund is deposited, SBTPG automatically deducts your tax preparation fees (plus any applicable bank/processing fees) and routes your fee directly to your bank account.

Client Disbursement: The remaining balance of the refund is then disbursed to you via direct deposit, check, or prepaid card, depending on what you chose.
