As an independent Full-Charge Bookkeeping/Accounting business, I bring over 35 years of experience to the table. I love to do accounting, I love to do the research and forensics to either help solve problems, clean up existing processes or find new processes. I can help you do the work yourself or do the work for you. I have lived in Kittitas County most all of my life, raised my family here and just like everyone else, I want better life balance and help other achieve the same thing. QuickBooks is good, but not the only option out there. Depends on your needs, and what you want to pay. Research all your options before deciding. I hear good things about FreshBooks. I have the option to help with Ambrook, they are not just for Agriculture they are great for Construction, Multi-Entity Owners and Non-profits, especially when you are dealing with grants. Lots have a free trail, so you can at least take a look, don't like it? Cancel before you need too.

For businesses that pay out mileage to their employees as of July 1st it is now .76 cents per mile for personal vehicle usage. That also counts if you're a small business owner tracking your own mileage instead of actual vehicle costs for year end taxes.

When a business needs help with their books, but doesn't know where to turn. They need to find someone that's not just a robot and enter transactions and move on. Find someone that will ask questions and make sure everything is flowing so when tax time comes your CPA or tax preparer has clean information. I am finding that some people go get QuickBooks ProAdvisor status and think they can be bookkeepers, sad some of the messes I have seen.
