I had no idea I was part of the Beyhive till I went to see the Beyonce concert in the theatre. It's official, I'm a 🐝! She's SO incredible talented, beautiful, loving, the list goes on and on. She almost had me in tears a few times listening to her and thinking about my own struggles. Great uplifting concert to see! 💯💚

A wonderful lunch with my mom 💙 Enjoy these moments while you can, no one is promised tomorrow.

Our waitress asked if I was in the military 😳

*I guess I could have been supporting someone in the service by wearing a MARINE t-shirt. 😒

I told her I'm in the military.

She then asked me what branch? 😳

Her: Air Force

Me: No!
Starts to laugh cuz I thought she was joking

Her: Army

Me: No!
I'm sincerely confused on the convo and point to my t-shirt

Her: Oh! You're a Marine!

Me: Yeah
Smiling (kinda) and looked down at my t-shirt to make sure it indeed read MARINES (it does).

I looked at her in disbelief of what just happened. She awkwardly smiled and went away to grab our waters.

I can't make this up!

America, y'all gotta do better! When it comes to females who served and those who are serving in the military, stop assuming it's NOT us! WE SERVE TOO💯

No, I didn't get a free meal. Apparently they "ran out" of vouchers at 2pm and only provided their normal 10% discount for the tab. A lot of Veterans and service members were upset upon hearing this and left, we stayed to eat. We had already waited an hour for a table 🤷🏾

Nov 10th is the Marine Corps Birthday! We are celebrating 248 years of being America's 911 fighting machine! Many fear us, several want to be us, only a few will be honored to wear the title Marine!
