With all the World Cup talk about red cards, I thought I’d hand out a few of my own. 🚩⚽️
As a financial advisor, I regularly hear comments like these. Most don’t come from a lack of intelligence, they come from very human assumptions, biases, and blind spots.
The good news? Once we recognize them, we can make better decisions.

☀️ Go Casey go! This summer, our wonderful apprentice advisor has been leading Finance 101 Sessions for young adults (ages 17-25), introducing them to the basics of money in a way that actually makes sense for real life.
Over the course of four sessions, she’s covering the foundational concepts of:
📊 Budgeting: where is your money going?
💳 Debt: understanding it and using it intentionally!
💵 Investments: your future self will thank you for getting started early!
☂️ Insurance: protecting what matters.
With two sessions completed and two to go, Casey is doing an incredible job of educating the next generation and equipping them with tools to understand personal finance!

This past Sunday marked 5 years at LOTUS! 🪷
This photo takes me back to celebrating my very first planning client as an independent advisor. I was excited, a little nervous, but ultimately hopeful about what I was building.
Since then, I have welcomed growth in my practice, my confidence, and most importantly, the relationships with my clients and my team. 💜
