Patience!!

Most of the IRS Advanced Child Tax Credit letters have been received by taxpayers.

BUT, most of the Third Stimulus Payment letters have NOT been received.

The information from these letters must be correctly entered on your tax return to avoid a long delay in processing.

Here is a tip for the Third Stimulus Payment amount - check your bank statements starting March 17, 2021. Anyone who uses Direct Deposit for their Federal tax refund most likely got a Direct deposit of their Stimulus Payment on or after that date.

Another tip - the Stimulus Payment should be $ 1,400 for each person in your family.

It is also possible to go to www.irs.gov and create a user account - user name and password - and find out the amount of your stimulus payment.
