Stop trying to buy a shortcut to a foundation you havenât even built yet. đ đ§±
If you are a new business owner and youâre looking at âLead Servicesâ or âAdsâ before youâve even checked off the basics, you are effectively throwing your limited capital into a black hole. đž
The Harsh Reality: Ads donât fix a lack of effort. If your âdigital storefrontâ is empty, unorganized, or invisible, an ad is just paying for people to see that you arenât ready for them.
The $0 Foundation (The Bare Minimum):
* Google Business Profile: If you arenât on the map, you donât exist. Period.
* The âBig 3â Socials (IG/FB/TikTok): These are free billboards. If they are empty, you look like a ghost town. đ»
* Facebook Groups: Stop spamming and start solving problems. People buy from experts, not spammers. đ€
* Professional Visuals: A clean flyer, a digital business card, and a simple logo. If you canât show a basic level of branding, why should a client trust you with their money? đš
* An Organized Portfolio: Stop dumping 50 unlabelled photos in a comment thread. Use your IG grid to show your work properly. Label it. Make it presentable. đž
The Bottom Line: You might not have the capital for a massive marketing budget yetâand thatâs okay. But you do have the time to do these 5 things for free.
Most of your competition is lazy. They wonât do these. Simply showing this level of effort and organization will set you apart from 90% of the people in your industry.
Donât touch the âPromoteâ button until your house is in order. đ
Exhaust your FREE options first. Build the trust, then build the fire.

đ« LO QUE NO DEBES HACER

Is your LLC actually protecting you? đĄïžđ”
Most people form an LLC and think theyâre set, but if you treat your business account like a personal piggy bank, youâre âpiercing the corporate veilââmeaning your personal assets could be at risk.
Here is your essential âDo & Donâtâ Checklist to keep your Texas SMLLC in good standing:
â
THE DOâS
* Ownerâs Draws: Transfer from Biz to Personal to get paid.
* Texas Franchise Tax: File your Public Information Report (PIR) by May 15th annually! đïž
* Collect W-9s: Get these from every contractor before you send a dime.
* 1099-NEC ($2,000+): Issue only if you pay a sub $2k+ (New threshold).
* Separate Banking: Use a dedicated account for all business revenue.
* Quarterly Taxes: Send IRS estimated payments every quarter.
đ« THE DONâTS
* No W-2 for You: You are the owner, not an employee. No payroll for yourself.
* No 1099 to Spouse: If they work for the biz, they belong on a real W-2 payroll.
* No âPiggy Bankingâ: Never pay personal bills directly from the biz account.
* No Cash Payments: Avoid cash; always maintain a digital paper trail.
* No Mixed Accounts: Keep business and personal finances 100% apart.
The Golden Rule: Treat your LLC like a separate person. If you respect the boundaries, the law will too.
đŹ HAVE QUESTIONS?
Compliance can be confusing, but you donât have to guess. If youâre unsure about your 1099 thresholds or that May 15th deadline, send us a DM! Weâre here to help you keep your business bulletproof.

BĂĄsicamente, saliste a mano y regalaste tu trabajo.

There is a reason you are slammed with work but the business bank account is empty. đ
You arenât pricing the job wrong. Youâre forgetting to price the COMPANY.
Most contractors are great at calculating the lumber, the concrete, and the field labor. But when it comes to the truck payments, the insurance, the estimating software, and their own time in the office⊠they just guess.
âI just add 20% to the materials and it usually works out.â đ©
No, it doesnât. That 20% âprofitâ you just added? That was actually your Overhead. Congratulations, you just broke even and worked for free.
If the client doesnât pay for your overhead, YOU pay for it out of your own pocket.
đ Swipe through this post to learn the exact math you need to find your true Overhead Rate, and see how to apply it to your next bid so you actually take home real profit.
You got into this business to build, not to sit behind a desk fighting with spreadsheets and QuickBooks. If your books are a mess and you have no idea what your actual overhead percentage is, we need to talk. We help construction owners dial in their accounting, separate their costs, and build financial systems that actually make them money.

6 years in businessâand Iâm genuinely humbled. đ
âšFirst and foremost: thank you God for allowing us the opportunity to serve others and do what we truly love.
Weâre in business, yesâbut we also want to show the world (and everyone we encounter) the difference Christ makes in our lives, and we try to reflect that in every action, every conversation, and every interaction with our clients.
I grew up watching my parents run a construction company and struggle to find the right helpânot because they didnât work hard, but because they didnât know who to trust or even what steps came next. That stayed with me, and itâs exactly why this firm was created: to be a real place for guidance when youâre unsure where to start.
We may not be the biggest, the most popular, or the most well-knownâbut we put 110% into everything we do. Some might call us crazy⊠because weâll spend time on the phone helping someone who hasnât spent a $1 with us yet. But for us, thatâs not âextraââthatâs the mission.
Yes, weâre a business. But itâs people over profitâalways.âšIt might not be the perfect business model, but Iâm grateful I get to choose it and live it out.
To every client, supporter, and referralâthank you for being part of this journey.

Tax season doesnât have to be expensive.
There are free & low-cost tax filing options that work great for simple, non-complex returns. Many are self-guided and do a solid job of identifying credits and deductions you actually qualify for.
When it comes to taxes, there are no âtricksâ to a bigger refund â you either qualify or you donât. Be careful with fly-by-night preparers who inflate refunds and disappear when the IRS follows up.
These options are tried, tested, and legitimate.
If youâd rather work with a professional, we also offer affordable tax filing with a fully remote, seamless process.
