The IRS is officially shutting down E-File for both Individual and Business returns at 11:59 a.m. EST on Friday, December 26, 2025.

If you still have returns to submit, don’t wait — make sure everything is e-filed before 12/26 to avoid delays.

🚨 SNAP BENEFITS UPDATE 🚨

At Pretty Precise Financial Services, we care about keeping our community informed especially during uncertain times.

Because of the ongoing federal government shutdown, several states are pausing or delaying SNAP (food stamp) benefits for November. 🛑

If you or someone you know relies on SNAP, please read and share — this may affect your household 👇🏽

📍 States Reporting Delays or Suspensions:

• Texas – November payments may not be issued if the shutdown continues.

• Louisiana – SNAP funding suspended until federal operations resume.

• Illinois – Over 1.9M residents could lose benefits starting Nov 1.

• Minnesota – November benefits currently at risk.

• Colorado – November payments on hold.

• Oklahoma – SNAP suspended beginning Nov 1.

• Montana – SNAP issuance halted pending federal funding.

• California – CalFresh benefits may pause or delay in November.

• Pennsylvania – Benefits already paused as of Oct 16.

• Visit your state’s official SNAP or DHS website for the latest updates.

• Plan ahead with your current benefits — and check your EBT balance regularly.

Your last paycheck stub is not a guaranteed reflection of your total yearly earnings. It’s fine to get an estimate or quote using your last paystub, but your refund amount can change once your actual W-2 arrives. I’ve seen it time and time again.
