If anyone paid late filing penalties or interest during January 20, 2020 thru May 11, 2023, you may be entitled to a refund of those monies paid if you act fast. The deadline is July 10, 2026.
Keep in mind this will affect tax year filings 2019 thru 2022. It also affects late filing interest and penalties paid during 1/20/20 thru 5/11, 2023 for payment plans for prior years.
There was a court filing that only gives us this small window of opportunity.
