IR-2021-16, January 15, 2021 — The Internal Revenue Service announced that the nation's tax season will start on Friday, February 12, 2021, when the tax agency will begin accepting and processing 2020 tax year returns.

IR-2017-173, Oct. 13, 2017 — The IRS today warned taxpayers to remain vigilant to scams as they continue to be reported around the country. Phishing, phone scams and identity theft top the list of items normally reported.

For all my clients that file with ITIN numbers please follow the link or call the office to find out if your ITIN is expiring soon. Remember you cannot prepare a tax return with an expired itin number. You will need to renew it before next filing season.
