We’re proud to welcome Hunter Bergeron as the newest Financial Advisor at Retirement Financial Group!
Born and raised in Southeast Texas, Hunter now calls Bridge City home. After graduating from Lamar University in 2018 with his BSN, he spent seven years as a critical care nurse in the Cardiovascular ICU and Post-Anesthesia Care Unit. Those experiences taught him the importance of communication, advocacy, time management, and staying calm during some of life’s most stressful moments.
Hunter has been married to his wife, Destiny, for six years, and together they have two wonderful children, Roczen and Riley.
While transitioning from nursing to financial advising was a big decision, Hunter quickly realized the two careers have more in common than he expected. As a nurse, he advocated for his patients and worked to help them navigate difficult situations. Today, as a fiduciary, he brings that same commitment to serving his clients.
His years in critical care also gave Hunter a unique perspective on what matters most. He never had a patient tell him they wished they had made more money—but he heard countless people wish they had traveled more, spent more time with family, or done the things they had always dreamed of doing.
As a Financial Advisor, Hunter’s goal is to help people make the most of the wealth they’ve worked hard to build, so they can pursue those dreams with confidence, clarity, and purpose.
Or, as we like to say: Retire Smart.
Welcome to RFG, Hunter!
