Welcome to our new series, Meet Team PWS! Please meet our newest advisor, Ash Gandhi. We asked Ash a few questions so you can get to know him:

1. How long have you been with PWS, and what is your role?
“Just over a year — helping clients turn financial complexity into a plan they can actually understand.”

2. What do you enjoy most about what you do?
“Solving financial puzzles — especially the ones clients didn’t realize they had.”

3. What is your favorite part of working with our clients?
“Getting to know the story behind the numbers — because that’s usually where the real planning starts.”

4. What do you think makes our firm special?
“We’re big enough to bring serious resources, but small enough to actually know our clients.”

5. What do you enjoy doing outside of the office?
“Traveling, exploring new places, and finding very good food along the way.”

6. What's something people might be surprised to learn about you?
“I’m 6’4”, so finding shirts that actually fit is practically a second career.”

7. What's your idea of a perfect weekend?
“Good weather, great food, somewhere near the water — and absolutely nothing on the calendar.”

8. If you could have one superpower, what would it be and why?
“Teleportation — I love traveling; airports, not quite as much."

Quick picks: Beach or mountains? Mountains
Sweet or salty? Sweet
Early bird or night owl? Early bird
Dogs or cats? Dogs!
Have a GREAT weekend!!

🌟

This past weekend at Mont Tremblant, on his 5th attempt, Akbar walked his long awaited red carpet and earned his red hat!

He has signed up, trained, and showed up to suffer on the mountain 5 times, not knowing what the outcome would be but wanting to give it his all in pursuit of his goal.

In 2022, he didn’t know what he knows now after failing and getting back up again. At first, he didn’t know what chafing was. He didn’t have proper gear - he showed up to Whistler in a windbreaker from 1988 and shook through the whole storm, because he didn’t know any better yet.

Five times, Akbar has told his family what he was about to do. Five times, he’s cried — in his father’s arms, in Colleen’s arms — in front of the people who mean the most to him.

Most people try something once. If it doesn’t go well, they don’t come back. Akbar came back anyway. Again. And again. And again.

That’s the whole point of this thing. Not getting it right the first time. Not being an expert, or having the right gear, or knowing what you’re doing. It’s being willing to fail in front of the people you love, and lean in anyway. It’s proving to yourself, one summit at a time, that you’re capable of more than you think.

This weekend, Akbar showed us what the human spirit is capable of when you just keep going.

And after all that, he even endured a roast from his beloved Coach Brent with a smile ;). What a guy.

Akbar is a living example of what we say again and again: Keep Climbing ⛰️ 07/28/2026
