As a solopreneur, running an ENTIRE business solo is kind of insane. I either have to manually do everything, or use (and properly implement) a curated workflow.
As a toddler mom, ain't nobody got time for all that!
So I utilize software, automate what I can, and have review checkpoints throughout the process.
I actually feel like a business owner!! I can review high-level work, and focus on some new things for the business (stay tuned....)
My main tech stack to run my virtual bookkeeping firm:
1. Google Workspace - Email/Calendar/Drive Storage, Website, Business Phone. I love the simplicity of setting everything up, it's affordable, and it does everything I need.
2. QuickBooks Online (or Xero, we don't discriminate here) - Your bookkeeping and accounting hub. Everything from transaction categorization, account reconciliations, and financial reporting.
3. Canva - The GOAT for any sort of content creation, digital assets, and physical product designs.
4. Double - My secret to getting my time back. Double serves as my client portal, it sends reminders, documents my firm's SOPs, delivers customized financial report packages (everything from your important accounts to education on how to understand your reports), and more.
What software makes running your business easier?
