As a SQUARE reseller this is going to be extremely useful to get your business on the Apple Map (pun intended).

Lets talk and see if SQUARE is the right option for your business or if there is a better option.

Square today announced a new integration with Apple that enables Square sellers to connect their locations to Apple Business from their Square Dashboard, so ...

If your card reader is older than some of the phones your customers are using, it may be time for a review.

Old equipment can create real problems:

Slow checkouts
Connection issues
Limited payment options
Poor reporting
Frustrated staff
Frustrated customers

Your POS should help your business move faster, not make every transaction feel like a side quest.

Business owners, here is a term worth knowing:

Effective rate.

Your effective rate is the percentage of your total card sales that you are actually paying in processing fees.

For example, if you processed $50,000 and paid $1,750 in total fees, your effective rate would be 3.5%.

That one number can tell a much clearer story than looking at one advertised rate.

A lot of businesses think they are paying one thing, but their full statement tells another story.

Business owners, pick one:

Would you rather…

A. Save money on processing fees
B. Upgrade your POS system
C. Simplify your software
D. Get better reporting
E. All of the above because running a business is already enough work

There is no wrong answer, but your answer says a lot about where your biggest opportunity may be.

A big part of what I do is simple:

I help business owners understand what they are already paying for.

That may sound basic, but a lot of business owners have never had anyone walk them through their processing statement or explain what their POS system is actually costing them.

And that is a problem.

You should not need a finance degree, a decoder ring, and three cups of coffee just to understand your monthly fees.

Have you ever had someone explain your merchant statement to you?

Business owners, here is my simple offer:

I will review your current payment processing or POS setup and help you see if you are overpaying, missing better options, or using outdated technology that is holding your business back.

No obligation.
No pressure.
No confusing industry talk.

Just a straightforward review to help you answer a few important questions:

Are your fees too high?
Is your POS system still the right fit?
Are you paying for tools you do not need?
Could your business run smoother with a better setup?

If everything looks good, I will tell you that.

But if there is a way to save money or improve your system, I will show you exactly where the opportunity is.

Let’s do something different today.

Tag a local business that deserves more attention.

Restaurant, tattoo shop, salon, gym, boutique, contractor, food truck, chiropractor, pet groomer, repair shop — whatever business you think more people should know about.

Small businesses are the backbone of every community, but they do not always get the attention they deserve.

So today, use this post to shout them out.

And business owners, feel free to introduce yourself in the comments too. Tell us what you do, where you are located, and how people can support you.

No sales pitch from me today. Just community.

Here are 5 signs your business may be overpaying for credit card processing:

You do not know your effective rate.
Your monthly statement is confusing or impossible to read.
Your fees seem to change without a clear explanation.
You are paying for software or equipment you barely use.
Nobody has reviewed your account in the last 6 to 12 months.

Here is the truth: most business owners are busy running the business. They are not sitting around analyzing interchange rates, batch fees, PCI fees, monthly minimums, equipment charges, and statement line items.

And honestly, they should not have to.

That is where I can help.

A statement review can show whether you are priced fairly, where your money is going, and whether there is a better option available.
