Do you ever just feel overwhelmed?

Life has a way of pulling us in a lot of different directions—family, business, relationships, responsibilities…and somewhere in there, trying to take care of ourselves too.

This morning I needed to get outside, clear my head and remind myself of something:

Hard seasons don’t last forever.

If you’re feeling overwhelmed right now, keep going. Keep showing up. Keep believing.

And remember some of our best days are still ahead of us.

AI isn’t going to replace you.

But someone who knows how to use AI might.

I’m spending the next couple of days learning how AI is changing the mortgage and real estate industry—and the opportunity is incredible.

My biggest takeaway?

AI isn’t about replacing relationships. It’s about eliminating the repetitive tasks that keep us from building them.

The future belongs to professionals who use technology to become MORE human, not less.

Time to learn, adapt and get better!

Are you working hard… or are you actually moving forward?

It’s easy to stay busy. More calls. More hours. More activity. But sometimes working harder isn’t the answer.

Sometimes we need to stop and ask ourselves:
Is what I’m doing actually getting me where I want to go?

If not, maybe it’s time to change the strategy—not just increase the effort.

Work hard. Stay consistent. But make sure you’re running in the right direction.

Everyone keeps talking about the challenges of buying a home right now. But there’s another side to this market. 🏠

Buyers finally have something they haven’t had much of over the last several years:

Leverage.

More choices.
Less competition.
More sellers willing to negotiate.
More opportunities for closing-cost assistance or seller concessions.

Does that mean it’s the perfect time for everyone to buy? Absolutely not.

But if you’re financially ready, this may be a much better market to be a buyer in than you think.

Don’t just watch interest rates.

Pay attention to the opportunities the market is creating.

“I came out here for a hike this morning, and it reminded me of something I probably don't do enough.

Like a lot of people, I'm constantly pushing—trying to do more, accomplish more, solve the next problem.

But sometimes doing more isn't the answer.

Sometimes you need to step away.

Get outside. Clear your head. Put the phone down. Spend a little time with God.

Because when you get quiet, you start to see things differently.

You get perspective. You get clarity. And sometimes you realize that the thing you've been trying so hard to figure out… you need to put in God's hands for a while.

And I've found that when I come back, I'm usually clearer, more focused, and actually able to accomplish more.

Sometimes stepping away isn't wasting time. It's exactly what you need to move forward.”

73% of Atlanta-area homebuyers recently received some type of seller concession.

That's nearly 3 out of every 4 buyers.

And this is exactly why I keep telling buyers: don't just negotiate the price of the house.

Depending on the transaction, seller concessions can potentially help with:

• Closing costs
• Repairs
• Temporary or permanent rate buydowns
• Other costs associated with the purchase

Yes, mortgage rates matter.

But in today's Atlanta market, your negotiating leverage matters even more.

The best deal isn't always the lowest purchase price.

Don't just negotiate the house. Negotiate the entire deal.

A new chapter for me and my girls

This weekend, I spent a lot of time getting settled into a new place with them—shopping for clothes, working on their bedrooms, and trying to make sure it feels like home.

It reminded me how quickly life can change, and how often what we need from a home changes with it.

Sometimes that means more space. Sometimes it means a different location. Sometimes it simply means creating a place that feels stable and comfortable during a season of change.

And from a housing standpoint, buyers have more choices and more negotiating leverage than they’ve had in years.

So if life has changed and you’ve been wondering whether your current home still fits, take a minute to understand your options.

We've all received that message:

“Hey, just checking in to see if you've made a decision…”

The problem? It gives the other person very little reason to respond.

Instead, bring something to the conversation.

Give them an update.
Send something useful.
Ask a specific question.
Or simply reconnect around something you remember from your last conversation.

Not every follow-up needs to be about closing the deal.

Good follow-up shouldn't feel like follow-up. It should feel like a relationship.

Try it with your next five follow-ups and see what happens.

Doing a great job isn't always enough to stay top of mind.

You can give someone incredible service, build a great relationship, and three years later… they may not think of you when they need your help again.

It's usually not because you did anything wrong.

Life gets busy. People forget.

That's why staying connected matters.

Call someone you haven't talked to in a while.
Comment on something they posted.
Send a quick text just to check in.

And don't make every conversation about business.

You don't stay top of mind by constantly selling to people. You stay top of mind by staying connected to them.

Who’s one person you haven't talked to in a while that you should reach out to today?
