SMVAF settled 1,015 claims during the April 2025 to March 2026 financial year, reaffirming the Fund’s commitment to putting claimants first through efficient, transparent, and compassionate service delivery.

This was revealed during the SMVAF Business Review Forum held at the MVA Fund, where staff and leadership reflected on the organisation’s performance and impact over the financial year.

During the same period, 1,299 claims were registered, marking a 16.4% increase, while claims settled increased by 4.3%. A total of 256 claimants received full payments, helping individuals and families recover and rebuild following road accidents.

The Fund also intensified outreach initiatives aimed at reducing backlogs and improving access to treatment and rehabilitation services across the country. Beyond claims management, SMVAF continued to champion road safety through nationwide campaigns, community outreach programmes, and partnerships aimed at reducing accidents and protecting lives across Eswatini.

The Sincephetelo Motor Vehicle Accident Fund (SMVAF) Fourth Quarter Business Review Forum is currently underway, bringing together staff and Executive Management for meaningful discussions on the Fund’s performance, priorities, and future direction.

Now six months into her tenure as CEO, Khangeziwe Mabuza has shared a compelling vision for the Fund’s journey over the next four years, outlining strategic priorities aimed at strengthening service delivery, operational excellence, and the Fund’s impact on emaSwati.

The Forum continues to provide a valuable platform for collaboration, reflection, and alignment as the organisation works collectively towards achieving its mandate.
