On 6 October, Céline Hoa Poumeyrol, Tax Manager for Singapore and Hong Kong, was invited by the University of Economics and Law (UEL) in Ho Chi Minh City and Université Paris-Panthéon-Assas to share her experience as an alumna of the Master’s in French-Asian Business Law.
Drawing on her professional experience in taxation across Asia, Céline spoke about her career path and shared insights into current tax trends across the region.
The event also included a networking session with students and legal professionals, encouraging exchanges between the academic and professional communities.

On 30 June 2026, the Vietnamese Government issued Decree No. 252/2026/ND-CP, providing detailed guidance on the implementation of the new Law on Tax Administration.

Effective from 1 July 2026, the Decree introduces important changes across tax compliance, digitalisation, e-commerce, international tax cooperation, and profit remittance.

Last week, RBA Group joined the “AML in the Age of AI: What Leaders Need to Know” event, organised by the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants and supported by Singapore Chamber of Commerce Vietnam.

Representing RBA Group, Mr. Albert, Senior Advisor, joined professionals and business leaders for an afternoon of discussions on how AI is changing the financial crime landscape and what this means for organisations today.

As we're heading into the final quarter of 2026, many of us are entering one of the busiest periods in business consulting, focused on achieving the goals we set at the beginning of the year. And with that often comes a little more stress than usual.

That made it a timely moment for our teams across Singapore, Hong Kong, and Vietnam to participate in a Stress Management Workshop led by our Head of Client Services, Ai Sugiyama.

The training wasn't about eliminating stress altogether. Instead, it focused on understanding positive and negative stress, recognizing common triggers, and learning practical ways to manage stress in both our professional and personal lives.

As we work toward a strong finish to the year, taking care of our well-being is just as important as staying productive.

Vietnam has introduced 𝐃𝐞𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐞 𝐍𝐨. 𝟐𝟓𝟓/𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔/𝐍𝐃-𝐂𝐏, bringing several important changes to the transfer pricing framework from 1 July 2026.

The new rules refine requirements around related-party relationships, transfer pricing documentation, benchmarking, and Country-by-Country Reporting (CbCR), with greater emphasis on data-driven and risk-based tax administration.
