📣 Strategic Economic Insight: Time for a Pakistan-Iran Trade Deal in Local Currencies 🇵🇰🇮🇷

As an international business expert closely watching the region's evolving dynamics, I strongly recommend that Pakistan and Iran urgently sign a bilateral trade agreement allowing mutual transactions in native currencies (PKR–IRR) — bypassing dependency on the USD or other third-party currencies.

This is not just a policy suggestion; it’s a strategic necessity.

🔁 Two-Way Trade Potential:

Pakistan has the potential to send thousands of Zayreens (religious visitors) to Iran every year. This cultural and spiritual connection is a stable pillar for consistent movement of people and services.

Iran, rich in natural gas and oil, is a vital energy partner for Pakistan’s future needs.

💼 Beyond Pilgrimage & Energy: There is tremendous room to expand into agriculture, pharmaceuticals, textiles, construction materials, medical tourism, and IT services. Both nations can develop customized product exchanges that suit their local economic needs.

🏦 Banking Access is Crucial: To make this possible:

Iran must open its banks in Pakistan, allowing seamless conversion and remittances.

Pakistan should reciprocate by setting up its banks in Iran, ensuring both nations have full financial visibility and trust mechanisms.

🌐 In a world shifting towards de-dollarization and regional alliances, this move will empower both nations economically, diplomatically, and strategically — while protecting them from unnecessary external financial pressures.

📌 Time to act. Time to trade smart.

I am suggesting that Iran and Pakistan must sign a Trade Deal of accepting deals in their native currencies. Pakistan has potentially Thousands of Zayreens (Visitors for holy places)and Iran potentially has good amount of natural gas and oil. It's a two way traffic. Many other products can be figured out. Iran must open their Banks in Pakistan and Pakistan must open it's banks in Uran
