Jashn-e-Azadi Mubarak 🇵🇰
Seventy-nine years ago, a generation gave up everything they had so that we could have a country of our own. Homes, land, families — surrendered for an idea they believed in.
We remember the Quaid, the founders, and every unnamed person who did not live to see the country they made possible.
The freedom was won. The building never stops. May we hold it with the same honesty they showed.
Pakistan Zindabad.

Most business owners in Pakistan pay more tax than the law actually asks them to.
Not because of low income — but because they never claim the tax credits they already qualify for.
A tax credit is not a deduction from income. It comes off your tax bill directly. Rupee for rupee.
In this guide, we’re covering the credits business owners most commonly miss:
• Donations to approved institutions and charities
• Contributions to an approved pension scheme
• Installing a point-of-sale machine as an integrated retailer
• Employment generation by new manufacturing setups
• Investment in new plant and machinery
• Tax already paid abroad on foreign-source income
Each one has its own conditions, limits and documentation. Claim it wrong and it becomes an FBR notice instead of a saving. Claim it right and your tax liability drops legally, on record, with proof.
The catch? These credits are not automatic. If your return doesn’t claim them properly, FBR will not remind you. That money is simply gone for the year.
At TaxMate.pk — Your Gateway to Every Regulator — we review every client’s business income before filing and identify exactly which credits apply to your case. Every return is checked and approved by our CA review panel before submission.

FBR's entire online system is offline this weekend.
From 12:30 AM on Saturday, 8 August until 5:00 AM on Monday, 10 August 2026, FBR is carrying out planned system maintenance. During this window you will not be able to use:
• IRIS
• Digital Invoicing
• Payment System
• SWAPS
• POS Registration
That means no returns, no payments, no registrations and no online transactions until Monday morning.
Two things worth knowing:
1. This is planned maintenance, not a system crash. Services are expected to resume as soon as the work is complete.
2. Note the end time carefully — 5:00 AM Monday, not 5:00 PM. Several news reports got this wrong.
Nothing has been extended or waived because of this downtime. So anything time-sensitive should be fully prepared and ready to submit the moment systems return.
Here's how to use the weekend properly: get your documents in order now. Send them to us today and our team will have your case prepared, reviewed and ready to file the minute the portal is back online on Monday.
Income tax returns, NTN and STRN registration, company registration, FBR notices — TaxMate.pk handles it end to end.
