Federal Board of Revenue will issue the new ATL on 01 March 2023 on the basis of Income Tax Returns filed for the Tax Year 2022. Taxpayers who had failed to file Income Tax Return for Tax Year 2022 would not be able to avail benefit of reduce rates of withholding tax from 01 March 2023. Those taxpayers who had filed Income Tax Return for Tax Year 2022 after the due date will have to pay ATL surcharge for inclusion of their name in ATL.
