Transcript: The 5 Purposes of Wealth
https://www.facebook.com/reel/9603449886435230
The late, great Dr. Myles Munroe once said, โWhen the purpose of something is not known, abuse is inevitable.โ So Iโve concluded that one of the many reasons people abuse and mishandle their finances is because they donโt understand the purpose of wealth.
So I want to give 5 purposes of wealth for the Christ follower.
1. To Give to the Kingdom
The first reason God gives us wealth is to give to the Kingdom. You see, one of the reasons God gives us wealth is so we can sow it back into the Kingdom. I often say when you give, the church may get your money, but God gets your heart. Thatโs because where our treasure is, there will our hearts be also. Our hearts will always gravitate to where our treasure is.
2. To Take Care of Our Families
The next reason God gives us wealth is to take care of our families. You see, God cares deeply about the financial well-being of families. 1 Timothy 5:8 says, โIf you donโt care for your family, you have denied the faith and are worse than an unbeliever.โ So God wants our families to be blessed through our wealth for generations to come.
3. To Carry Out Our Calling
The third reason God gives us wealth is to carry out our calling. Now thatโs an interesting one. You see, God blesses some people with lots of money and certain things simply because their calling requires it, not because theyโre any better than you, or because God favors them more, but because they have a calling that requires them to live a certain way.
4. To Help Others
The fourth reason God gives us wealth is to help others. Thereโs nothing like being a blessing to somebody else. We are blessed to be a blessing, not to just consume what we have on ourselves.
5. To Enjoy
And lastly, God gives us wealth to enjoy. Ecclesiastes 5:19 says, โIf God gives us wealth and property, we should be grateful and enjoy what we have worked for.โ Then the scripture goes on to say, โIt is a gift from God.โ
So there is nothing wrong, you all, with enjoying the wealth that God has blessed you with, as long as you understand the purpose for wealth.

โWAIS Akoโ meaning โChrist in me, because Christ is the WAIS.โ
Hereโs how that deepens the logoโs symbolism:
โ๏ธ Spiritual Core
Christ as the WAIS (Wise One): The logo becomes more than a call to financial prudence โ itโs a declaration of Christ-centered wisdom. The โWโ shaped like a double check and wave now symbolizes Christโs truth and living presence flowing through every wise decision.
โWAIS Akoโ transforms into a statement of identity: โI am wise because Christ lives in me.โ Itโs both personal and communal โ each believer becomes part of a national wave of Christ-like stewardship.
๐ The Wave as the Spiritโs Movement
The wave-like โWโ now represents the Holy Spiritโs movement โ dynamic, renewing, unstoppable. Itโs the flow of divine wisdom transforming Filipino lives and families.
The double checkmark can be seen as affirmation and grace โ Godโs โYes and Amenโ to those who walk wisely in faith.
๐ต๐ญ Filipino Identity Redeemed
The colors of the Philippine flag remain, but now they carry spiritual resonance:
Green โ Growth in Christ and fruitful stewardship.
Blue โ Faithfulness and trust in Godโs promises.
Red โ Passion and sacrifice, echoing Christโs love.
โPinoy Akoโ becomes โPinoy Ako, kay Kristo ang WAIS sa akinโ โ a declaration of national and spiritual identity intertwined.
๐ก Theological Message
The movementโs visual language now bridges financial wisdom and spiritual formation. It teaches that true โwaisโ isnโt just cleverness โ itโs Christ-like discernment.
โWAIS Akoโ = โChrist in me, the wisdom of God alive in every Filipino.โ
โ๏ธ Christ is the WAIS
W = Way, the Truth, and the Life
The sweeping โWโ becomes a visual of Christ as the path โ the checkmark affirms His truth, and the wave shows His life flowing through us.
A = Alpha and Omega
Christ as the beginning and the end โ the โAโ anchors the logo in eternity, reminding us that wisdom starts and ends in Him.
I = Immanuel
โGod with usโ โ the โIโ personalizes the message: wisdom is not distant, it is Christ dwelling in each believer.
S = Saviour
The โSโ seals the identity: true wisdom is salvation itself, not just cleverness or prudence.
๐ Logo as Living Theology
The double checkmark and wave in the โWโ now symbolize Christโs truth affirmed and His Spirit moving.
The colors of the Philippine flag (blue, red, green) are infused with spiritual meaning: trust in God, courage through Christโs sacrifice, and growth in His wisdom.
โPinoy Akoโ becomes a declaration of identity: โI am Filipino, and Christ the WAIS lives in me.โ
18/04/2026
WAIS Pinoy Ako logo is rich in layered symbolism โ every element speaks to wisdom, identity, and movement-building. Hereโs a deep interpretation:
๐ The โWโ โ Double Check and Wave
Double Checkmark: Represents discernment and right decision-making โ the essence of being โwais.โ It visually affirms that wise choices are both spiritual and financially sound.
Wave Form: Symbolizes momentum and awakening. It evokes the image of a rising tide โ a movement of Filipinos becoming financially wise and faithful stewards. The wave also suggests adaptability and resilience, traits deeply rooted in Filipino character.
๐ โWAISโ โ Wisdom and Growth
The bold green color conveys growth, prosperity, and renewal. Itโs the color of life and stewardship โ fitting for a movement teaching financial wisdom grounded in faith.
The uppercase form gives authority and confidence, positioning โWAISโ as a guiding principle rather than just a word.
๐ต๐ญ โpinoyakoโ โ Identity and Belonging
The blue in โpinoyโ stands for trust, unity, and integrity โ the collective Filipino spirit.
The red in โakoโ expresses passion, courage, and ownership โ the personal declaration: โI am Filipino, and I am wise.โ
Together, they mirror the Philippine flag, rooting the movement in national pride and purpose.
๐ Overall Symbolism
The logo embodies a faith-driven Filipino awakening โ a wave of wisdom sweeping across the nation. Itโs not just branding; itโs a visual creed:
โWAIS Pinoy Ako โ I choose wisdom, I live stewardship, I move with purpose.โ

The video "GOD Already Told You How to Be Rich โ You Just Didn't Follow the Steps" outlines a biblical blueprint for building wealth, emphasizing practical discipline and stewardship over "get-rich-quick" schemes.
The 9 Biblical Steps to Wealth
1. Sharpen Your Blade (Skill Development): Focus on building capability before seeking capital. Learning a marketable skill (writing, coding, trade) is a seed that costs nothing but produces valuable fruit [01:45].
2. Work Like the Ant (Proactive Diligence): Avoid "spiritualizing laziness." Like the ant, you should move without needing a boss or a prophetic word, preparing in "summer" for the "winter" ahead [03:07].
3. Count the Cost (Budgeting): Managing wealth starts with awareness. You must calculate and plan your finances; if you cannot manage a small amount, you cannot manage a million [04:22].
4. Kill Debt (Financial Freedom): Debt is described as a form of "slavery" that gives someone else a portion of your future. The video suggests a "snowball" approachโattacking the smallest debts first [05:27].
5. Gather Little by Little (Consistent Saving): Wealth is built through small, faithful accumulation rather than overnight success. The goal is multiplication and investment, not just hoarding or storage [06:58].
6. Diversify Your Income (Multiple Ventures): Based on Ecclesiastes 11:2, you should spread your efforts across multiple ventures (e.g., side businesses, freelancing, or consulting) to protect against economic shifts [08:12].
7. Guard Your Walls (Self-Control): Lack of self-control leads to "lifestyle inflation" and emotional spending. Every time you say "no" to an unnecessary luxury, you are saying "yes" to your future [10:19].
8. Walk with the Wise (Mentorship): Your environment shapes your behavior. Seek mentors who have already walked the path you want to take, rather than just listening to motivational speakers [11:27].
9. Build with Clean Hands (Integrity): Wealth built on dishonesty "dwindles away." Focus on building a good reputation and honest business practices that can leave a legacy for future generations [13:02].
Key Resources Mentioned
The video recommends several free resources for those seeking financial guidance [12:08]:
Dave Ramsey: For biblical financial teaching on YouTube and podcasts.
SeedTime (Bob Lotich): For stories and principles on debt-free living and giving.
SCORE.org: For free business mentorship backed by the U.S. Small Business Administration.

โ๏ธ Application & Accountability
The empty tomb reminds us that God fulfills His word. We too must honor commitments, applying principles with accountability and faithfulness.
๐ Influence & Integrity
The resurrection validates Jesusโ integrityโHis words proved true. Influence grows when promises are fulfilled and integrity is consistent.
๐ค Service & Stewardship
Resurrection empowers us to serve with renewed strength. Stewardship means using resources to bring life, hope, and transformation to others.
Practical Applications Today
Live with eternal perspective, valuing wisdom over temporary gain.
Honor commitments faithfully, reflecting Godโs reliability.
Build influence through integrity and consistency.
Serve with renewed energy, bringing hope to families and communities.
Personal Reflection
How does resurrection shape my perspective on wealth and stewardship?
Am I living with accountability and integrity that reflects Christโs victory?
How can I serve others with renewed hope and strength?
Conclusion
Easter Sunday proclaims the greatest victory: He is risen! The resurrection means death is defeated, promises are fulfilled, and new life is given. Through the WAIS Framework, we learn that wisdom builds eternal wealth, accountability reflects Godโs faithfulness, influence grows through integrity, and stewardship brings hope and transformation. Day 8 challenges us to live as resurrection peopleโfaithful, hopeful, and committed to finishing our mission with excellence.
๐๐๐๐๐๐
Risen Lord Jesus, on this Easter Sunday we lift our hearts in praise and thanksgiving. The stone was rolled away, the tomb was empty, and the angel declared, โHe is not here; He has risen, just as He said.โ Today we celebrate the greatest victoryโthe triumph of life over death, hope over despair, and promise over fear.
Lord, we thank You for the cross that bore our sins and the resurrection that secured our salvation. You fulfilled every prophecy, silenced the power of sin, and opened the way to eternal life. Teach us to live as resurrection peopleโbold in faith, steadfast in hope, and overflowing in love.
Grant us wisdom to value eternal treasures above temporary gain, accountability to honor our commitments as You fulfilled Yours, integrity to live consistently so that our influence reflects Your truth, and stewardship that brings life, hope, and transformation to others. May our financial and personal decisions reflect the victory of Your finished work, ensuring that our legacy is one of faithfulness and completion.
Strengthen us to serve with renewed energy, to persevere in trials, and to proclaim with our lives that You are alive. Let our families, communities, and nation see in us the power of resurrectionโhope restored, faith renewed, and love perfected.
We declare today: Tetelestaiโit is finished, and He is risen! May our lives echo this victory forever, and may we walk each day in the light of Your resurrection.
Amen.

๐๐๐ซ๐ข๐ฉ๐ญ๐ฎ๐ซ๐: Matthew 27:57โ66 โ Jesus is laid in the tomb, and the disciples enter a day of silence, waiting, and uncertainty.โ

Holy Saturday is a day of pause. The disciples grieved, confused, and fearful, while Jesusโ body rested in the tomb. It is the tension between death and resurrection, silence and hope, despair and faith.
๐๐๐ฌ๐ฌ๐จ๐ง: - The Meaning of Waiting
โช Silence as Preparation: God often works in hidden ways during seasons of waiting.
โช Faith in the Unseen: Even when nothing seems to move, His promises remain.
โช Hope in Delay: Waiting is not wasted; it builds endurance and trust.

1. Wisdom and Wealth
Patience is wisdom. Just as seeds take time to grow, wealth must be nurtured with discipline and endurance.
2. Application and Accountability
Waiting seasons are opportunities to review commitments and ensure accountability. Stewardship continues even when progress feels slow.
3. Influence and Integrity
Integrity is proven in hidden seasons. Influence grows when we remain faithful and consistent, even when unseen.
4. Service and Stewardship
Stewardship means guarding resources during quiet times. Waiting is service tooโpreserving, preparing, and trusting Godโs timing.
Embrace waiting as preparation, not wasted time.
โช Practice patience in financial growth
and stewardship.
โช Remain accountable even in silence.
โช Guard integrity and serve faithfully while trusting Godโs timing.
๐๐๐ซ๐ฌ๐จ๐ง๐๐ฅ ๐๐๐๐ฅ๐๐๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง
โช How do I respond when God seems silent?
โช Am I patient in financial and spiritual growth, or do I rush results?
โช Do I remain faithful in hidden seasons, trusting His promises?
๐๐จ๐ง๐๐ฅ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ข๐จ๐ง
Black Saturday reminds us that silence is not defeat but preparation. Though the tomb was sealed, resurrection was certain. Through the WAIS Framework, we learn that wisdom requires patience, accountability continues in waiting, integrity is proven in hidden seasons, and stewardship means guarding resources faithfully.
Day 7 challenges us to trust God in silence, to wait with hope, and to prepare for the victory that is coming.
๐๐๐๐๐๐
Lord God, on this Black Saturday we remember the silence of the tomb, the grief of Your disciples, and the waiting between death and resurrection. It was a day of uncertainty, yet also a day of hidden preparation for victory. Teach us to embrace seasons of waiting, trusting that silence does not mean absence, but that You are working in ways unseen.
We confess our impatience when answers do not come quickly, when progress feels slow, and when hope seems delayed. Forgive us for doubting Your timing. Strengthen our faith to endure silence with trust, knowing that resurrection always follows the tomb.
Help us to live with wisdom, patiently nurturing what You entrust to us. Keep us accountable in stewardship, even in quiet seasons. Guard our integrity when no one is watching, and teach us to serve faithfully, preserving resources and preparing for future fruitfulness.
May this day of waiting remind us that hope is never lost, and that Your promises are certain. As we anticipate resurrection, let our lives reflect patience, faith, and steadfast stewardship.
Amen.
