Pinalawig natin ang deadline ng filing ng 2025 Annual Income Tax Returns mula April 15 hanggang May 15, 2026. Mas may oras ang bawat taxpayer na makapag-file nang maayos, kasama ang lahat ng kailangang dokumento, at walang ipapataw na penalties.
Maaaring mag-file at magbayad sa pamamagitan ng BIR electronic platforms, o sa mga Authorized Agent Banks.
Ginawa natin ito para mas magaan ang pagbabayad ng bawat Pilipino, lalo na sa panahong ramdam ang pagtaas ng presyo ng langis. Tuloy-tuloy ang ating ginagawa para maibsan ang bigat sa araw-araw na buhay ng ating mga kababayan.

Bakit hindi na lang daw gawing parang billing ng Meralco ang TAX? 🤔
Gets ko yung frustration—pero hindi talaga siya ganun kasimple.
Una, ang kuryente may meter ⚡
Kung ano ang konsumo mo, yun ang babayaran mo.
Pero ang TAX? Iba-iba tayo ng:
* income (business, freelance, mixed)
* expenses (pwede ibawas)
* tax credits (withholding, previous payments)
👉 Meaning: ikaw lang ang may kumpletong impormasyon ng finances mo.
Hindi ito automatic na alam ng Bureau of Internal Revenue.
📌 Sa Pilipinas, self-assessment system tayo:
Ikaw ang:
✔️ magdedeclare ng income
✔️ magcocompute ng tax
✔️ magfa-file
Ang role ng BIR?
👉 mag-check, mag-validate, at mag-audit
Hindi sila ang gagawa ng computation para sa lahat, kasi:
❌ hindi nila hawak buong detalye ng negosyo mo
❌ pwedeng mali ang computation
❌ pwedeng mas mataas ang singil
📌 “Edi sana BIR na lang magbigay ng amount to pay?”
Sige, pero isipin mo ‘to:
Kung hindi nila alam lahat ng expenses mo,
👉 magbabase sila sa gross income mo
Result?
💸 Mas mataas ang tax na ipapabayad sayo
📌 Bakit may accountant/bookkeeper pa?
Hindi naman required sa lahat, pero sila ang:
✔️ tumutulong para maiwasan ang mali
✔️ nag-ooptimize ng legal deductions
✔️ nag-iingat para walang penalties
💡 Bottomline:
Hindi siya ginagawang “billing system” kasi
👉 hindi standard ang data
👉 ikaw ang may control sa financial info mo
👉 at yun ang design ng tax system
❓ Honest question:
Sigurado ka ba na gusto mo na
👉 BIR na ang magsabi ng babayaran mo
kahit hindi nila alam lahat ng gastos at deductions mo?
Baka sa huli…
👉 **mas malaki pa ang bayad mo kaysa sa dapat.
