Is your business ready for a surprise BIR visit?

Tax mapping doesn’t have to be stressful - if you’re prepared. The Bureau of Internal Revenue conducts spot checks to make sure businesses stay compliant, so keeping everything in order is key to avoiding penalties.

Make sure your “Wall of Compliance” is complete and your records are always updated.

Quick Checklist:
✅Invoicing: Keep your ATP and active booklets ready
✅Displays: Ensure your COR (2303) and NIRI are clearly visible
✅Books: Maintain updated manual or computerized books

Stay compliant, stay confident!✨

📢 Tax Advisory: BIR RMC No. 20-2026

Can't find BIR Form 1701-MS in the eBIRForms system? Don't panic. Under RMC No. 20-2026, the BIR has provided alternative filing options to ensure you stay compliant and meet the deadline.

🔍Key Guidance:
If 1701-MS is not available in eBIRForms, taxpayers may:
✅Use BIR Form 1701 (for mixed income earners)
✅Use BIR Form 1701A (for purely business/professional income)

Important Note‼️
This ensures that taxpayers can still file on time and remain compliant, despite the system limitation.

💡Bottom line:
In the absence of 1701-MS in eBIRForms, file using 1701 or 1701A, whichever is applicable.

The deadline is approaching. The earlier you understand these updates, the smoother your AlTR filing will be.

Many don't realize that the VAT paid on electricity, supplies, and rent is actually a Tax Credit. By properly documenting your Input Tax, you directly reduce your BIR liability.

Think of it as a voucher you've already paid. You can use that Input Tax to slash the amount you owe to the BIR.

Stop looking at VAT as a burden and start using it as a tool!

VAT or Non-VAT? Knowing the difference is key to compliance!

Understanding your tax classification is crucial for every business owner in the Philippines. Whether you’re just starting out or hitting new milestones, your tax obligations change as your business grows. 📈

Here are the three easy ways to identify your status:
1️⃣ Annual Gross Sales: Is your revenue above or below the ₱3M threshold?
2️⃣ Tax Type: Check your BIR Form 2303 (Certificate of Registration).
3️⃣ Invoice: Look at the seller information on your BIR-registered invoices.

Swipe through our quick guide to see where your business stands!

EWT vs. CWT: Know the Difference! 💡

Stop guessing and start filing with confidence. Here’s the "cheat sheet" every business owner needs:

✅ EWT: You deduct it. You remit it. It’s a liability.
✅ CWT: Your customer deducts it. You claim it. It’s an asset.

Don't let BIR Forms 0619E or 1601EQ confuse you. Whether you’re issuing a Form 2307 to a supplier or collecting one from a client, accuracy is key to avoiding penalties.
