This time of the year is also when my orchids bloom beautifully.
Caring for orchids is a truly rewarding experience that combines patience and dedication—much like being a bookkeeper for real estate. Both require careful attention to detail and a commitment to nurture and grow something valuable.
I’m always captivated by the stunning beauty and diversity of orchids, just as I am by the dynamic world of real estate bookkeeping.

It's Monday again and we are gearing up for a new week! But first let me ask you how was your weekend? So here's to some storytelling -----
My weekend was quite eventful and fun-filled.

On Friday, I had a delightful mini-reunion with former colleagues from the Ex BPIFB Auditing Department . It was amazing to catch up and share stories after so many years of not seeing each other.

Saturday was spent celebrating the wedding of a good friend's daughter - a beautiful and joyous occasion.

On Sunday, my daughter stopped by for a visit, which made the weekend even more special!

It was truly a refreshing and heart warming few days!

Yesterday was a fulfilling day, attending two webinars to boost my bookkeeping skills.

The first was Stage Call, where Coach Mark Hui provided inspiring guidance for our freelancing journey. My biggest takeaway? "𝑫𝒐𝒏'𝒕 𝒓𝒆𝒔𝒊𝒔𝒕 𝒄𝒉𝒂𝒏𝒈𝒆; 𝒃𝒆 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒃𝒆𝒔𝒕 𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒔𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝒐𝒇 𝒚𝒐𝒖𝒓𝒔𝒆𝒍𝒇."

The second webinar was on Wave Accounting Software, led by mentor Nikkie John Abilar who thoroughly explained navigating the software—from setting Opening Balances and categorizing transactions to bank reconciliation and reviewing financial statements.

I feel so grateful for these learning opportunities, not only for enhancing my skills but also for building camaraderie with fellow students.

Last night's seminar on Canadian Bookkeeping was incredibly insightful! A huge thank you to our mentors Ms. Melona Abilar and Ms. Sherly Delos Santos, for sharing their expertise and providing real world examples of bookkeeping for Canadian small businesses using Wave Accounting Software. We had a detailed walked through in Wave, covering everything from setting up tax rates and importing bank accounts to creating invoices and bills, and finally generating financial statements. 💻 📚
