Work 💼 vs. Weather 🌧️

DOLE’s Labor Advisory No. 17 Series of 2022 gives the go signal to pause work during severe weather—but with clear rules in place:

📌🤔 Pwede bang magsuspend ng work?
➡️ Yes. If safety is at risk, employers can suspend work (must be done with proper coordination)

📌🤔 May pasok ba o may bayad ba?
💼 Worked full day (6 hrs up)? ✅ Full pay
🕐 Worked half-day? ✅ Pro-rated
🚫 No work? ❌ No pay (unless may leave credits or generous company policy)

📌🤔 Ayaw pumasok dahil delikado?
➡️ Valid. Employees have the right to stay safe. No sanctions dapat.

📣 Employers, this is the time to lead with empathy. Extend extra support to those who brave the storm para makapasok. At higit sa lahat, huwag pilitin, pagbantaan, o parusahan ang mga empleyadong hindi makapasok for safety reasons.

📣 Heads Up, NCR Workers! 👷‍♀️👨‍🌾💼

Wage Order No. NCR-26 has been approved, granting a ₱50 increase in the daily minimum wage in the National Capital Region.

🗓 Effective July 18, 2025, the new minimum wage rates will be:

🔺₱695 for workers in the non-agriculture sector

🔺₱658 for workers in the following:

• Agriculture sector (plantation and non-plantation)

•Service and retail establishments employing 15 or fewer workers

• Manufacturing establishments regularly employing less than 10 workers
