⛩️ The Dojo: Building Technical Excellence Together

Over the past few weeks, DAVI teams once again came together for a series of learning sessions under The Dojo, our ongoing knowledge-sharing initiative focused on continuous learning and cross-functional collaboration.

Last April 22, employees participated in a session featuring practical use cases and discussions on how tools like Claude AI can support day-to-day work across different teams. The session was led by Francis Dumo, who encouraged participants to explore how Claude AI can be used responsibly and effectively in the workplace.

This was followed by another Dojo session last May 7, led by one of our Machine Learning Engineers, David Bambalan, which explored how machine learning can support more personalized CRM communication strategies. Discussions included the limitations of traditional testing approaches and practical applications of machine learning solutions within Go Rewards.

In celebration of the 2026 Privacy Awareness Week, DAVI’s Legal Team recently held an engaging and insightful session titled “Data Privacy in Practice: Risks, Realities, and Regulatory Action” last May 4, 2026, featuring Atty. Anna Benjieline Puzon-De Peralta from the National Privacy Commission as our guest speaker. The session was also attended by representatives from JG Digital Equity Ventures, Inc., JG Summit Holdings Inc., and UNICON Insurance & Reinsurance Brokers Corporation.

The discussion focused on practical approaches to data privacy implementation, including managing risks, responding to security incidents, and keeping pace with evolving regulatory expectations. It also highlighted the importance of continuously reinforcing data privacy awareness and embedding responsible data handling practices into everyday work.

Because protecting data is not just about compliance- it’s about building trust, accountability, and a culture of responsibility every day. 🔐

⛩️ The Dojo: Designing for Usability

In our latest Dojo session, Ayna from the Product Team led a discussion on UX and Usability, breaking down what user experience really means and what it is not.

The session focused on a simple but important idea: good design should be easy to use. Through shared insights and real examples, the team explored how usability shapes user interaction with our products and how small design decisions can make a meaningful difference.

More than just a product conversation, it was a reminder that creating better experiences is a shared responsibility. By understanding usability principles, we can all contribute to building solutions that are not only functional but also intuitive and meaningful for the people who use them.

A look back at our move-in day 📍

Last April 13, DAVI moved into our new office at Robinsons Equitable Tower (RET). This was a meaningful milestone for the team, marking not just a new space but a fresh start as we continue to grow and work more closely together.

From setting up workstations to spending our first day onsite, it was nice to see everyone come together and ease into the new environment. We’re looking forward to building more moments here as a team.
