Job Title: Accounting Staff
Job Description:
Accounting staff carries out a range of accounting, bookkeeping, and financial tasks, such as keeping track of financial transactions, examining financial statements, assessing accounting systems, figuring out tax liabilities, and suggesting best practices for accounting.
Duties/ Responsibilities:
* Recording transactions, adjusting entries, and ensuring accuracy of account balances.
* Preparing and filing of tax returns;
* Processing of payroll and other government compliance;
* Reconciling bank balances by matching bank statements with internal records to ensure accuracy;
* Assisting in the preparation of financial statements, balance sheets, and income statements.
* Maintaining orderly records and files for easy retrieval and reference;
* Assisting with various administrative tasks such as answering phones, scheduling meetings, and managing emails.
Required Skills/Abilities:
* Graduate of BS Accountancy or any related course.
* Preferably with at least 2 years experience in bookkeeping and accounting; but fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
* Preferably with working knowledge of BIR regulations and other governmental requirements
* Proficiency with Microsoft Excel is a must.
* Trustworthy, highly organized, detail-oriented, and can work with minimal supervision.
* Good communication skills and PR.
