A funny realization hit me while standing here with my co ninongs.

Many of the people we see on television, read about in the news, or assume are on a completely different level…

are actually just people.

And if we’re honest, many of us have probably felt a little intimidated walking into rooms like this.

Different titles. Different responsibilities. Different journeys.

But still people.

Standing there in that moment, I found myself quietly smiling.

Because I remembered how many years of growth, work, and life lessons it took to reach rooms like this.

One thing I’ve learned along the way is this.

Never be intimidated by big personalities.

At first, moments like these can feel a little overwhelming. Senators, public figures, people with influence and big platforms.

But the moment you start having real conversations, you realize something simple.

They joke & laugh the same.
They think about their families the same.
They carry responsibilities the same.

They are just people trying to do their best with the roles they have been given.

Confidence does not come from status.

It comes from knowing who you are, what you stand for, and the value you bring to the table.

When you focus on improving your character, your competence, and how you serve others, you stop worrying about titles in the room.

You simply show up as yourself.

And when that happens, conversations become easier, more genuine, and more meaningful.

Leadership is not about who has the biggest title.

It is about having the courage to sit at the table, contribute, and treat everyone with respect.

So keep leveling up.

Trust me on this.

One day you might find yourself in rooms you once thought you didn’t belong in…

only to realize you belonged there all along.
