Last night, I got my third application for the month of October approved. 😊💖

Ang galing kasi October 8. Tapos yung Client na ito ay Client ko na din for 8 years. Nagsimula siya na maliit pa lang ang sweldo niya at single pa siya. Ngayon, married na siya and nagmove na sa ibang company. Mas mataas na din ang sweldo niya. Happy for him! Siya mismo ang nag-reach out para mag-ask ano ba ang magandang plan para sa kanya.

For this application, kumuha ulit siya ng VUL pero may health riders na. Yung nauna kasi niyang plan ay pure life insurance lang with investment and accidental death rider. Ngayon, may accidental death, total disability waiver, critical illness benefit at hospital income benefit na din.

Gusto ko lang i-share kasi yung mga itinuturo sa amin sa trainings ay siyang tunay. As Client go through life, they also grow so ang financial needs and objectives ay nag-ggrow and evolve din.

I am happy and honored na nandito pa din ako sa company para ma-serve ang Client ko na ito. 😊☀

Hindi madali ang pagiging financial advisor. Yes, maganda ang compensation pero kailangan talaga maging consistent din. Madami din rejections. So kailangan matutunang maging matatag and maremind of our value as a person.

STORY TIME.

Just want to share about how she decided to add coverage. Client already has existing life, accident and health insurances. She is really a believer of insurance. Kapag may offer sa credit card niya ng additional insurance, if she thinks she is able to sustain, she goes for it. She mentioned that last year, she was already thinking of adding insurance - this time from an insurance company talaga and not bank-assurance. Patapos na din naman kasi yung isang insurance niya kaya naisip niya na magdagdag pa ng isa. Kaya lang for some reasons, hindi pa niya siguro mahanap yung perfect match for her. Na-ooverwhelm siya sa mga offer kasi kadalasan sobrang laki ng offer sa kanya. Probably because advisors na kausap niya know na she is a businesswoman. They assume na ok lang mag-offer ng malaki.

Anyway, this year she was prompted to message me. I asked her why. Apparently, someone she knew and very close to home just recently got hospitalized and confined sa ICU. Di ko masyado na-catch yung condition pero parang similar to aneurysm. Wala pang 30yo yung na-confine. So parang she got reminded na very important talaga ang insurance kasi nga ang laki ng nagastos. I was relieved to know na ok pala at out of danger yung kakilala niya na nagkasakit. So we went ahead with the application process. We met again after a week. Sign application form and payment. And then nakwento ulit niya about the person na nagkasakit. Unfortunately, she didn't make it. Ilalabas na lang sana siya. Okay na ang lahat tapos biglang, she passed away. :-( Nakaka-sad kasi breadwinner pa naman yata yung kakilala niya.

Bakit ko kinukwento? Hindi naman para manakot pero depende kung paano mo to tatanggapin. It's your perspective. Pero ako gusto ko lang i-highlight yung observation ko kay Client. She took the event as a reminder for her to increase her life insurance coverage. Naisip niya din if magkaron ng critical illness ang laki ng pwedeng magastos sa ospital. Kaya yung kinuha niya may Critical Illness rider din talaga.

Iba-iba tayo ng timing. Iba-iba ng reasons and ng prompts. Pero my reminder siguro is that, if you are able (meaning you are healthy and have the money), please buy life insurance lalo na if breadwinner ka. Yes pwedeng kumikita ka ng malaki ngayon. Yes. Pwedeng madami kang ipon ngayon. Pero sabi nga nila, life is not guaranteed. Today is a gift that's why it's called present. Make it worthwhile. :-)
