The most important financial product you need to have today is HEALTHCARE.
We all know that...
π PhilHealth is not enough.
π Short-term healthcare is not enough.
We all know that...
π VUL is not a healthcare plan.
π Hospital Income is not a healthcare plan.
π Critical Illness benefit is not a healthcare plan.
We all know that...
π Asking for help on Facebook is not enough.
π Soliciting is not enough.
You might end up selling your properties, withdrawing all your money, acquire a lot of debt just to pay the hospital bills.
That's why it's very important to start building up your long-term healthcare savings starting today.
Kaiser Long Term Care

Iba pa rin kapag may peace of mind... And you don't want to become a burden to your family and friends, right?
Time is our greatest ally in building wealth ππ»ββοΈ
A lot of older people are playing catch up saying "bakit ngayon ko lang nalaman ang tungkol dito, andami ko nang pera na nasayang."

Proof of life on my page.
If your husband is an OFW, find a tree and hug it. Why? I dunno as well. I just did.π€£ Kidding aside, long distance relationship is not for everyone. Especially if you don't have a strong foundation and if Jesus is not the center of your marriage. May God continue to bless you and your spouse. Praying you a thriving marriage even if you are not physically together always.
PS: Make a good financial plan to fund all your goals esp your retirement funds. So your spouse can go home for good. Cut the distance. Plan and act on it.π8982jf.imgcorp.com

Our kasambahay for more than 5yrs handed me this 2,000 pesos as she bid goodbye to return to Manila para mamasukan bilang family helper.
Her: Janelle, lagi kong nakikita yung mga post mo about sa insurance. Hindi ko alam yun at hindi ko naiintindihan pero baka pwede mo ako isali may natira pa akong pera dito mula sa sweldo ko buong taon.
I was surprised with what she said cause to give you a background she was only able to finish until grade 1 and can barely read and write.
Me: Sige po auntie. Sure ka na dito? Diba ipapagawa mo pa yung mga sira sa bahay niyo?
Her: Oo, tinabi ko talaga yan para pag nagkita tayo maabot ko sayo at ma explain mo sakin.
And her next words really broke me.
Grabe! π€§ Nag goosebumps ako sa sinabi niya.
I was straight up stunned for five seconds absorbing what she said.
I hate working on holidays but at that very moment, I immediately picked up the application form as I explain to her the proposal na pinagkasya ko sa budget and told her na if kulangin, we will cover for the deficit.
Just imagine, thousands of filipinos out there na gustong mabago ang situation nila but financial illiteracy hinders them. My heart and advocacy are with these people.
Si Auntie our helper, barely making ends meet, breadwinner, slowly paying debts, worked for her lifetime, but has a really big heart for her familyβs future.

For the record, this is my most favorite story as an advisor.

Be financially educated and have mentors para well-guided tayo.
God bless you!π

Questions I always get asked...
Do you sell mutual fund investments?
Do you sell stocks?
Do you sell life insurance?
Do you sell Kaiser Longterm HMO?
Do you sell non-life insurance?
My answer.
No. I sell peace of mind. If you build your finances with strong foundation (having income protection, short and long term HMO, growing investments and life changing business), will you feel secured? Will you have peace of mind?

It doesn't matter where you start. What matters is where you want to go and the price you are willing to pay toget there.

I've read this beautiful life lesson from Steven Jacobs...
An old man meets a young man who asks:
βDo you remember me?β
And the old man says no. Then the young man tells him he was his student, And the teacher asks:
βWhat do you do, what do you do in life?β
The young man answers:
βWell, I became a teacher.β
βah, how good, like me?β Asks the old man.
βWell, yes. In fact, I became a teacher because you inspired me to be like you.β
The old man, curious, asks the young man at what time he decided to become a teacher. And the young man tells him the following story:
βOne day, a friend of mine, also a student, came in with a nice new watch, and I decided I wanted it.
I stole it, I took it out of his pocket.
Shortly after, my friend noticed the his watch was missing and immediately complained to our teacher, who was you.
Then you addressed the class saying, βThis student's watch was stolen during classes today. Whoever stole it, please return it.β
I didn't give it back because I didn't want to.
You closed the door and told us all to stand up and form a circle.
You were going to search our pockets one by one until the watch was found.
However, you told us to close our eyes, because you would only look for his watch if we all had our eyes closed.
We did as instructed.
You went from pocket to pocket, and when you went through my pocket, you found the watch and took it. You kept searching everyone's pockets, and when you were done you said βopen your eyes. We have the watch.β
You didn't tell on me and you never mentioned the episode. You never said who stole the watch either. That day you saved my dignity forever. It was the most shameful day of my life.
But this is also the day I decided not to become a thief, a bad person, etc. You never said anything, nor did you even scold me or take me aside to give me a moral lesson.
I received your message clearly.
Thanks to you, I understood what a real educator needs to do.
Do you remember this episode, professor?
The old professor answered, βYes, I remember the situation with the stolen watch, which I was looking for in everyoneβs pocket. I didn't remember you, because I also closed my eyes while looking.β
This is the essence of teaching:
If to correct you must humiliate; you don't know how to teach.β

A lot of people wanted success. But they often forget that success needs change from within - change in mindset, in habits, in words and in desires. They wanted success but are so afraid to get out of their comfort zones.
In short, they sabotage their own success. Don't be one of them. It's not yet too late to start having the right mindset. Save and invest for a better future.
