BPI CREDIT CARD ANNUAL FEE REVERSAL REQUEST

Did you know that if you are using your BPI credit card monthly, you can request for a reversal of cc annual fee?

I‘ve been using BPI credit card for 5 years now and I never paid for an annual fee. I always request for a reversal of payment and it’s always being approved.

How to request:
1. You may call BPI hotline
2. Go to your bank branch
3. Email your request to BPI official email (this is the method I always use and they usually respond within 24hrs)

I’m not really sure how to be qualified for this reversal request but I can tell you that I always pay on or before my due date and I use my credit card monthly and spend at least 3k. I asked them before about the qualification details but they did not give me any specific answer and they just told me to keep using the card.

You can only request for the reversal once the annual fee has been billed to your account. They cannot process the reversal prior to the billing of the fee.

Save yourself from unnecessary annual fee. 💰

The transaction is free of charge if you use QR code.

Click each photo to read the instruction on how to generate your own BPI QR code. I try to make it as simple as I can.

CIMB O GSAVE ACCOUNT? PAANO MAGKARON NYAN? ANO REQUIREMENTS?

Ito ang pinaka frequent questions na nakukuha ko on this page. Okay, isa-isahin natin.

Same benefit pa rin makukuha mo. It’s just that, when you have the CIMB app, you can experience its other features tulad ng pagtransfer ng fund sa ibang bangko ng libre!

Pls see pictures below to see Gsave logo inside Gcash.

IWAS SCAM TIP PART 2

Madalas nilang target mga customer ng big banks like BPI and BDO.

Personally, maraming beses ako nakatanggap ng phishing scam email last year.

The email subject creates a sense of (stupid and annoying) urgency. Halimbawa: “We’re now deactivating your account if we don’t hear any actions from you!”.

2. Check the sender’s email address. Yung gamit nila ay halatang fake. For reference, see image 2 below. Ang legit email address madalas ay ganito ang domain: halimbawa sa BPI emails '.com.ph' see image 3 for reference.

3.Yung online link na nilagay nila sa email will redirect you to a different “BPI website”. Always check the url of website. Ano yung url?

Hope it helps!

IWAS SCAM TIP

IMPORTANT: Please do not share your MPIN and OTP to anyone. Sharing it means you are authorizing a transaction. GCash representatives will never ask for this information.

CIMB Bank free insurance while saving money.

I’ve been saving some money in CIMB Bank since lockdown. 1 week ago, I received a message from them, meron daw akong free life insurance. Lol

Tapos kanina lang may nareceive akong email with attachment of underwriting ng life insurance from Sun Life Grepa.

Maximum of 250k.

ING and CIMB are digital banks that currently do not charge transaction fee.

GCASH APP IS WORTH IT

With the advancement of our technology nowadays and with all the convenience it brings to our life, I just can’t understand why some people wouldn’t take advantage of using it.

I’ve been raving about GCash to my family and friends because of too much convenience and help it brought into my life.

Need to pay your bills? (Free)

Deposit money to your bank account? (Php15 convenience fee)

Send money to your family in the province thru GCash? (Free)

Buy load? (Free and you can even get .05% rebates!)

All that and more can be done in GCash!

So why would you waste your time, effort, and fare or gas going to a bayad center monthly if you can do it in the comfort of your own home? Not to mention you’re saving yourself some precious time from queueing up and heavy traffic.

I’m just saying, GCash has been so helpful in so many ways especially during this quarantine. 🙂

Oh, they also have Save Money/CIMB Bank where you can save your money in a digital bank and earn 3% annually which is a lot higher than any other regular banks.

Whoever invented and thought of this mobile wallet app, you’re a genius. 🤟
