When I watched the story of Kaye Abad and her quiet battle with breast cancer, one thing really hit me; Illness does not choose who to visit🥺

Not even someone who looked healthy, happy, active, and complete with family.

One normal checkup changed everything. One diagnosis changed their entire season of life. But thankfully, because they had the means to seek treatment immediately, they were able to focus on healing instead of drowning in financial stress.

As a mom and a financial advisor, this is the realization that stays with me:

What happens if suddenly, we become the one needing help?

This is why I always encourage parents to prepare early.
Not because we are negative.
Not because we are expecting sickness.
But because life is unpredictable.

Critical illness coverage and insurance are not for “when we die.”
It is for moments when life suddenly pauses and your family needs financial breathing room.

When illness strikes, the last thing your spouse or children should carry is debt, hospital bills, or fundraising just to continue treatment.

Imagine being able to focus on recovery because you prepared ahead.
Imagine not becoming a financial burden to the people you love the most.

That is real financial planning.

Health is never guaranteed.
Time is never guaranteed.
But preparation is a choice.

And honestly, the best time to prepare is while we are still healthy enough to qualify.

The truth is, every parent’s starter pack should include life insurance! 🍼

Before you pass away, remove your kids as direct beneficiaries of your assets Instead, place all your assets in a revocable trust and name your kids as beneficiaries of the trust.

This allows them to bypass the lengthy probate process and gain immediate access to the assets.

By doing this, you're ensuring that your children are taken care of without the hassle and expense of probate.

A revocable trust gives you control and flexibility – you can make changes as needed, and it's a solid way to protect your loved ones.

Plus, it keeps things private, unlike probate which becomes public record.

Think about it: with a trust, your kids get access to the assets quickly, without court involvement, and with minimal fuss.

You can also specify exactly how and when they receive the assets, giving you peace of mind.

It's a smart move for anyone looking to secure their family's future.

Talk to a lawyer to set it up right.

TSAKA NA LANG

I had a client before, Seaman. Sa huli ang sabi “tsaka na lang” daw. Marami pa kasing gastos, nagbabayad pa sa bahay, sasakyan. May training pa ako etc etc. Baka hinde ko pa kaya talaga.

I understand. Sir, you know what I had a client before nakita ko sa office nagbabayad. Naka two years na sya nung nagkita kami sa office. I congratulated her. I asked her what motivates her in investing for her future.

Sabi nya
“Alam mo ba Mam yung sukli ko sa load ko na 80 pesos tinatabi ko araw araw. Nilalagay ko sa garapon sa taas ng ref. Tapos ihuhulog ko after 30 days. Kasi Hindi kasalanan na pinanganak na mahirap. Pero kasalanan ko na kung mamatay pa akong mahirap.”

Sir alam mo b kung ano trabaho ng client ko na yun? Nag mamanicure pedicure sya. Sir Ano pong work niyo? Seaman sir tama po? Sino po kaya ang May kakayanan mag ipon sa inyo? Pasensya na sir. Gusto ko lang marealize ninyo that you are blessed compared to most people. Sasayangin po ba natin ang pagkakataon? Or tsaka na lang?

Seaman: Paano ba ako magstart?

Why do we always say “Get insurance”?

It’s simple – we just want to make sure you won’t struggle financially if the day comes when you get sick or have an accident.

We’re here to educate you, so you can see that life is unpredictable. A small step now, like getting insurance, can save you and your family from huge expenses in the future.

Medical bills during emergencies are extremely expensive. They can bury your family in debt in just a few days.

So the question is: Will you pay for everything out of your own pocket, or let the insurance company take on the risk? It’s up to you.

Would you like me to adjust the tone of this translation for a specific audience, like making it more formal or more conversational?

You may think 𝙧𝙚𝙛𝙚𝙧𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙜 someone for insurance is nothing. But that simple act could be the reason a family survives without debt.

When an unexpected medical emergency hit, there was no time to plan—only fear, hospital halls, and mounting bills. Yet in the middle of the chaos, 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝗿𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗳. 🥺

Months earlier, someone cared enough to say,
“𝙆𝙪𝙢𝙪𝙝𝙖 𝙠𝙖 𝙣𝙜 𝙞𝙣𝙨𝙪𝙧𝙖𝙣𝙘𝙚. 𝙆𝙖𝙞𝙡𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙖𝙣 𝙣𝙞𝙮𝙤 ’𝙮𝙖𝙣...”

It wasn’t a sales talk. It was 𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙘𝙚𝙧𝙣.
And it became their safety net when life hit hard.

Sometimes, you won’t be the hero paying the bills. But you might be the reason a family keeps their home, their peace, and their future. ❤️

Wag ubusin ang sweldo ngayon. Kasi mahaba pa ang buhay.

10M retirement pay from your company?

Pagkain lang yan for 20 years.

How?

Check how much do you spend on grocery, palengke, grab, resto dine ins, and take outs in a month now. Multiply that to 20 years and add inflation.

WHY DOES THE GOVERNMENT REQUIRE A LICENSE FOR FINANCIAL ADVISORS?

There are lot of reasons why the government requires practioners to get a license from the Insurance Commission, but here is the core set of significant factors;

✅Because Financial Advice Affects LIVES, Not Just MONEY

Insurance decisions affect:

-A family’s survival after death

-Retirement fund

-Medical treatment

-Long-term financial stability

Anything that affects lives and long-term finances must be regulated.

The government issues licenses to ensure that only qualified individuals are allowed to give such advice.
