Entrepreneurs somehow chose to continue doing business despite challenges; to provide food on worker's table and to support worker's families.
I am not sure how long this can be.
But seeing these two: Jessa & Geraldine, working to make a living daily; WE feel fulfilled.

070121 | Bid Goodbye to Employment (lengthy Christmas post)
2 years and half when I insisted (not mere request) to give up the employment of my Partner as J.O. in a govt agency and pursue small business instead.
This was the 'small' business we made just to explore the IDEA. A home-based store we bargained for that 18k monthly compensation from employment. Many may have questioned our decision from a licensed professional to govt employee who chose to do selling agricultural stuff in a small barangay.
March 2023 when i decided to offer this store to my parents. DLA CPA Bookkeeping & Accounting Services clients that time are starting to increase, the rest is history.
One thing I learned about 'diving into the unknown' is taking calculated risk..
For it is not the physical aesthetics of this 'small' store but the 'processing' of that single IDEA to do business, which leads us to connect with like-minded people who have been in business for a very long time. They were an inspiration during hard times; literally a "navigator" in figuring out which direction to take..
As for money, when place in a business makes 'new' money. Probably this is true 2 years and half have passed, this 'small' store earns daily to supply my parents meds; a mere 'tambayan' but generates cash inflow sufficient to finance basic needs.
Top 2 pictures below which i randomly take a snapshot reminds me of that humble 'small' store and its purpose.
A Merry Christmas to ALL readers.

'Little' reward for Jessa
Late night ideas (just last night), I crafted this much playful image to entice kids/students. A simple logo to represent the cart once known as 'junk'.
This is our little token for Jessa.

100123 | The beauty of taking atleast the First Step to Start
3 months after that 'playful cart idea', this 'little' cart can already provide for its monthly rent, Jessa's salary and our daily cost of living; from fuel, meals, and our own way of paying back is through 'little' solicits and donations to Public School and the Church.
Well done, Mario!

This was seemingly a 'junk' food cart i bought from a bankrupt small business owner. Due to limited time, i decided to eventually dispose it at Php 17k with complete equipments. After a month, nobody seems interested despite the cheap price i offered to prospect food cart enthusiast.
2 months ago, i tried to reinvent this cart with start-up capital of Php 3k which now generates Php 1,000+ sales a day or roughly Php 26k per month. Fortunate to have met this cookery graduate student, Jessa!
I only feel delighted to see 'agwantador' young adult who dedicates her 8-hr employment in this experimental, business by-accident.
And, as the saying goes: "Creativity is making marvelous out of the Discarded."
