Life Insurance was created out of LOVE and CARE.

The earliest known life insurance policy was made on 18 June 1583, in London. A Richard Martin insured a William Gybbons, paying thirteen merchants 30 pounds for 400 if the insured dies within one year. It started the idea of insurance to ensure families are taken cared of when a head of the family dies. The first company to start insurance in modern times was the Amicable Society for a Perpetual Assurance Office, founded in London in 1706 by William Talbot and Sir Thomas Allen. At the end of the year a portion of the "amicable contribution" was divided among the wives and children of the deceased members.

My dad passed away 2009, and he had insurance. We were able to claim Php 22,000. Good, at least we have Php 22K.

So everything happened so fast, my Dad died, I was so devastated but as the eldest in the family I have to step up and take care of everything. I took care of the hospital bills. I said yes to the funeral homes. I looked for a cemetery where my dad will finally rest.
