Feds just clawed back $26.4M from crypto scammers, and this na just the tip of the iceberg.
DOJ and the Secret Service filed five separate civil forfeiture complaints this week, all tied to romance scams and fee-based recovery fraud where scammers hit victims twice, first with the original scam, then again pretending to help them recover it. Laundering networks traced mostly to Southeast Asia. Two cases alone account for over $22M combined, the rest split across three smaller investigations.
What's interesting is the strategy behind it. This is part of the Scam Center Strike Force that launched back in November 2025, and they're now sitting on over $800M recovered total. The approach here is asset-first: freeze first, forfeit later, repay victims as a separate legal stage entirely. That sequencing matters because it means funds get locked down fast before they can move through mixers or offshore exchanges.
Good reminder for anyone holding $ETH, $SOL, $XRP, $BNB, $ADA, $DOGE or $LINK right now, law enforcement is getting faster at tracing and freezing stolen crypto than most people realize. The days of "once it's gone it's gone" are fading fast.
If you've ever had a close call with a fake recovery agent or investment platform, drop your story below. And follow if you want these enforcement updates as they drop, this space moves quick.

Multicoin Capital just signaled they might be done holding, and the on-chain trail is hard to miss.
A wallet linked to the firm deposited 395,570 $HYPE, worth about $23.78M, straight into Coinbase Prime. On top of that, they requested to unstake another 211,486 HYPE valued near $12.94M. Add it up and that's roughly $36.5M in exposure suddenly in motion, tokens they picked up around $30 through an OTC deal five months back.
Separately, on-chain trackers flagged an even bigger move from three Multicoin-linked wallets, a combined 1.96M HYPE unstaked, worth close to $120M. Staked funds don't move for no reason, and unstaking is usually step one before a sale, not the sale itself, but the timing here is what's raising eyebrows.
Context that makes this spicier: this comes less than a month after Multicoin published a bullish report on Hyperliquid with a long-term target well above current price. Moving size like this right after publishing that kind of thesis is the sort of thing that gets people asking questions.
$HYPE has slipped from highs near $70 toward the $58-60 zone as this pressure builds. Meanwhile the futures board is showing where the real appetite's at right now, $BANK ripping over 77%, $ON up 53%, $RIF near 49%, while names like $DEXE and $SYN are bleeding hard on the losers side. Rotation like that tells you risk is still very much alive, it's just moving fast between names.
Worth keeping an eye on whether that $120M actually lands on an exchange next, or if it's just repositioning.
Are you reading this as distribution, or just portfolio rebalancing from a firm sitting on a big unrealized gain? Curious how you're playing HYPE here, and follow along if you want the update the moment that bigger stack moves.

Everyone's calling for a "final flush" on Bitcoin right now, so I actually pulled up the numbers instead of just reacting to the charts flying around Twitter.
Here's what's real: $BTC topped at $126K back in October 2025, and right now it's sitting closer to $65K, putting the drawdown around 48%. That's meaningfully shallower than the 84% wipeout in 2017 or the 77% drop in 2021. History buffs will also tell you every cycle bottom has been shallower than the last (93% in 2011, 86% in 2015, 84% in 2018, 77% in 2022) which is the actual pattern behind the "not bottomed yet" narrative, not just fear-posting.
My read: if $BTC loses the $60K-$65K zone with volume, the next structural levels to watch sit closer to $45K and then $34K-$38K if this cycle mirrors the historical drawdown curve. Hold above $65K though, and the maturing-market thesis (shallower corrections each cycle) gains real weight.
Worth watching how $ETH, $BNB, $SOL, $XRP, $DOGE, $ADA and $SUI react here too, since altcoins usually amplify whatever BTC decides next.
Which camp are you in, bottom's in or one more leg down? Drop your level below, and follow if you want the setups before the crowd catches on.

Fam, everyone's watching the headlines while the real story is playing out quietly in the support levels.
$BTC just bounced 4% off the $61.6K zone, a level flagged by the Power Law model's Q1 support band, and price has already climbed back toward the Q3 zone. I've been tracking this framework for a bit because it strips out the noise and just looks at where Bitcoin has structurally refused to stay below for long, and right now we're still sitting in a deep accumulation range below Q25. Historically, this exact zone has marked the launchpad for stronger rallies in past cycles, not the top.
Here's where it gets interesting if the pattern holds. Around the 90-day mark, the model points toward a potential move to $87K, that's the Q19 zone. Stretch it out to a year and you're looking at a possible climb toward $128K to $129K, the Q36 area. I want to be clear this isn't a straight-line guarantee, volatility and pullbacks are still very much part of the picture, but the fact that $61K to $62K keeps getting defended is what keeps this bullish scenario alive.
What could derail it? Macro shocks, unexpected political flare-ups, or a stock market shakeout are the wildcards here, so this read only holds if those stay contained.
Worth watching how majors like $ETH, $SOL, $BNB, $XRP, and $LINK react if BTC does start climbing through these zones, alt strength usually follows once BTC dominance shifts get confirmed. Hope this saved you some scrolling through charts today.
Where do you think BTC lands 90 days from now, above or below $87K? Drop your number below.

Fam, let's talk about the elephant in the room that nobody wants to bring up during bull runs: raising millions doesn't mean building something people actually use.
A viral breakdown making rounds right now shows six VC-backed chains, including $BERA, $TIA, Scroll, Eclipse, $S, and Manta, raised a combined ~$500M between them. Combined daily fees across all six right now? Just $360. Let that sink in for a second.
Some of the numbers are brutal on their own. Scroll was once valued at $1.8B and is pulling in around $24 a day in fees. $BERA raised $142M and sits about 98% down from its post-launch highs. Manta's TVL fell from over $650M around its airdrop to roughly $4M today. These aren't small dips, this is activity basically flatlining after the hype cycle moved on.
This is the pattern we keep seeing in crypto. A chain launches with a massive raise, gets an airdrop, community goes wild for a few weeks, then usage just falls off a cliff once the incentives dry up. Meanwhile tokens like $BNB, $SOL, $ETH, $XRP, and $LINK keep showing you what actual sustained demand looks like, real volume, real users, not just farming season activity.
The lesson here isn't "avoid new chains." It's that a big raise and a hot airdrop are marketing wins, not proof of product-market fit. Fees and retained users tell the real story, always.
Which one of these chains do you think has the best shot at turning it around, and which one do you think is basically done? Drop your pick below, I want to see what this community thinks.
