Serving as the 8th Chairman and the first female Chairman of this District has been one of the greatest honours of my professional journey.
Grateful for the love, recognition, encouragement, and every moment shared.
Leadership is transient, but institutions endure.
The future begins now. ✨

Saturday, 23rd May 2026 will remain a deeply memorable day for me.
I officially handed over leadership at the Investiture Ceremony of the 2025/2027 Executive Committee of the CITN Port Harcourt District Society, welcoming Dr. Kennedy Ikechukwu Imudia, FCTI, and the incoming EXCO into office.
Serving as the 8th Chairman and the first female Chairman of this District has been one of the greatest honours of my professional journey.
The journey was demanding at times, but deeply meaningful.
Looking back, I am grateful for the opportunity to serve, to help strengthen the District, and to contribute to building structures that will continue to support its future growth and relevance.
We were especially honoured by the presence of the President/Chairman of Council of CITN, the Vice President, the Registrar/Chief Executive, the National Treasurer, past chairmen, colleagues, friends, and members who came to celebrate this transition with us.
The warmth, encouragement, congratulations, and meritorious service recognition I received truly touched my heart.
Thank you for every handshake, every embrace, every kind word, and every prayer spoken over this journey.
To the incoming Chairman and EXCO, I wish you wisdom, strength, and grace as you lead the District into its next chapter.

how the Nigerian tax system is no longer waiting for you to come forward. It is already collecting data - from your bank, from the companies that pay you, from the platforms you transact on, & the tenants who claim rent allowances in your name
You are not invisible. You never were.
We broke down the 2 fundamental rules that govern whether you are taxable in Nigeria:
• Tax follows income. If you earn it, it is potentially taxable — regardless of the currency, the platform, or the country it came from.
• Tax follows residency. If you spend 183 days or more in Nigeria in any 12-month period, or if your permanent home is here, Nigeria taxes your worldwide income
What this means practically - for the employee, the freelancer with inconsistent clients, the business owner who has not yet registered, & the diaspora Nigerian who still has a naira account receiving income

I will not type out what I said. You need to hear it the way it was delivered. I will just say this: the room went quiet, then erupted. BC sometimes the most powerful thing a professional can do is speak the truth plainly, without too much grammar.

1. Not filing is not being safe. Penalties build silently. The tax authority does not need to knock on your door for a liability to accumulate in your name
2. Keeping records is your best protection.
3. Getting your Tax ID is step one. If you have NIN, your Tax ID is already waiting for you. Go to taxid.nrs.gov.ng and claim it.
