Abidemi Asunmo is a distinguished financial expert with over 20 years of experience in the digital banking sector, specializing in value creation and digital transformation. Her extensive background covers areas such as Retail Banking, Supply Chain Finance, Branch Management and Operations, Transaction Banking, Digital /e-banking, Business Analysis, and Marketing.

Currently serving as the Group Head of e-Business & Transaction Banking at Premium Trust Bank, Abidemi has held significant roles throughout her career. Notably, as the Head of Transaction Banking Business Channels at Sterling Bank, she utilized her emotional intelligence, delegation, and collaborative skills to lead projects and cross-functional teams. These efforts led to the successful launch of numerous user-friendly e-banking products. She also spearheaded the development of e-solutions that facilitated the onboarding of major Fintechs through customized strategic partnerships, enhancing access to digital financial services and expanding the bank's market share.

An alumnus of Lagos Business School, Abidemi is a skilled negotiator and a certified Cards and Payment Professional (I&II). She has also been an active Exco member of the Committee of e-business Industry Heads (CeBIH), serving as General Secretary, Policy Review Secretary, and Secretary for FINTECHs and Other Financial Institutions. Her unparalleled expertise in resolving payment-related issues has been widely recognized.
